HOPE 4 Phoenix Thankful Sundays

HOPE 4 Phoenix Thankful Sundays I started back in 2014 feeding the less fortunate in the park. Thank you to all that donate. We can also make arrangements to meet to do donation pick ups.

Thankful Sundays, Helping Phoenix Homeless and AZ Ferret Rescue are under the HOPE 4 Phoenix charity umbrella which is in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It's hard to believe that I formed this organization September 2014, and see it growing every month. Diane Simonian

We are a group of volunteers that rely on donations, fundraisers and our own personal funds to prov

ide food, hygeine items, clothes and other necessities that make the lives of the homeless that we serve just a little bit brighter. Our volunteers come from all over the valley and there are many ways to help, even if all you can be is a pair of helping hands and a great big smile! If you'd like to help but can't physically make it out to the park, donations can be dropped off or call me, Diane at 602-672-5636. If you have any questions please feel free to message us and we will be happy to answer any questions that you might have!

A full house today with more than 100 people enjoying a lovely meal. One gentleman even called it “gourmet” and is grateful every week. We are grateful for the wonderful volunteers that give time, food, prepping and cleaning. And especially thankful to Chick-fil-A, and Safeway for their donations. We served chicken, Mac n Cheese, coleslaw, green beans and sweet treats. Plus everyone receives a snack bag and clothing. It’s the big hearts that’s keep us going every week.

I got a wonderful phone call from Walgreens Healthcare System. They would like to come out on a couple Sundays a month and bring flu shots along and set up a booth, so our friends who are experiencing homelessness on the street can get some preventative care. As soon as I know more I will update the page but maybe on Sunday it could be announced before the feeding that we will be doing flu shots

Serving up a summer meal of chili dogs, tots, coleslaw, potato salad and sweet treats. We couldn’t do it without the volunteers that donate time, money, food and clothing each and every week. We give Hope to those that are running low on it.

Sharon Scott all this wonderful food was gifted to her thank you to Kristin Hodges, Rise and Dreams.
This was Chipotle out in Gilbert, when they're training new employees on prepping food it's amazing how they donate it. This was a true blessing but I know it's going to good use.
