I took a long break because of my oldest daughter being killed by a drunk driver and today my children and I faced the Parole Board. Praying they deny the woman who killed my daughter parole. I am slowly coming back but losing my first born was heartbreaking and deeply impacted my life.

A little late but thank you Bauerstown VFD, it is still hard to function with life after losing my first born to a drunk driver. I am thanking Bauerstown VFD for allowing us to have my daughter's wake at their hall.

A Northland woman is facing a murder charge after she allegedly fatally stabbed a Kansas City firefighter-paramedic who was trying to help her, court records show.

Clay County Prosecutor Zachary Thompson has charged Shanetta Bossell with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, third-degree assault of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest in the death of 29-year-old Graham Hoffman.

Bossell was booked overnight into Clay County jail and was being held on a $1 million bond.

🙏Praying for a full recovery for Lifeguard Ambulance EMT Alex Wells, 23.

She was involved in the EMS ambulance accident yesterday, in Clark County, Kentucky, while transporting a patient. Alex was ejected and sustained very serious, life-threatening injuries. She was life flighted to hospital.

Deborah J. Akers, patient, lost her life in the accident. The ambulance driver suffered minor injuries.

Please keep Alex, her young daughter, and her family in prayer. Also, pray for the family and friends of Deborah J. Akers during this very difficult time. 🥺

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the unexpected passing of Shannon. We send our deepest condolences to her family & friends. We have no words.

Thank you to everyone who called, texted or in whatever way sent thoughts, prayers & condolences.

Visitation for Shannon will be Saturday, September 30th from 0900 to 1230 at Duster’s Funeral Home in Tarentum with a service immediately following.
