Today was Queens Day at the state fair!! Had an absolute blast and got to make more friends!! Loving every opportunity this has given me. Got to see the ISFA bus and I just have to say it was pretty cool to see me pictured on the side of it! Got to enjoy more fair food and hanging out with all the girls! Let’s just say if you wanna get a gift for a queen, dill pickles are a safe bet! Can’t wait to see these girls in January 🩷

State fair day! My mom and I headed up north to volunteer at the Pioneer Village Ice Cream Parlor for a few hours. Had a great time and met so many amazing people that wished me luck for the competition in January! Got the iconic pickle pizza which was DELISH and just enjoyed a few hours walking around the fair. So grateful I got to enjoy this day with my momma, and we got to serve together!🎡🎢

Today was another busy busy day! Mavery and I had another awesome opportunity to be in the Owensville Watermelon parade! Loved seeing the princesses again! I was also asked to be in the dunking booth… of course I said yes and let me tell you, longest 30 minutes ever! It was a lot of fun for the kids and only a little cold for me. Got a little power nap in and then headed back to the Sweetcorn festival! Did some bingo and got to draw for the half pot. Somehow got roped in to doing the corn eating contest… lastly rounded the night by dropping off some more canned goods at the lions club in Oakland city! Another great, full day with lots of amazing people and fun activities! ☀️🩷

This Thursday I had an amazing opportunity to be in the sweetcorn parade in Oakland city with Mavery! Peep our little matching dresses too 🤭 as soon as the parade got over with we booked it over to Owensville to watch the Watermelon festival queens get crowned! One thing I love is watching another girls dreams come true on a stage. I also got to talk on the stage and let the community know a little more about me with my bestie Dorothy ❤️ so grateful for every person I’ve talked to and every opportunity I’ve had.

This week my court and I are busy busy busy! Praise the Lord for the opportunities I’ve been given! Started off the week helping out with the wonderful girls during the sweetcorn pageant in Oakland City! Big congratulations to Mylee Rhoden and her beautiful court! Monday, mavery and I headed to Knox County to see the 2026 Knox County Queen get crowned! Another big congratulations to Morgan and her court!! I got to see some old friends and make more new ones. Love being a part of this sisterhood and community. Lastly Wednesday my court and I had the opportunity to enjoy some Christmas in July and ring the bell to collect some donations for the Salvation Army!❤️ More activities to come this week…

Got to see some old friends and make some new ones at the Vanderburgh County Fair tonight!! Another great evening that I’m so so grateful for. Congratulations to the Miss Vanderburgh County 2026 Alyssa 🩷 good luck this week. I hope it’s the best! I can’t wait to continue seeing these girls throughout the year and at state!!
