Prescott Knitters Prescott Knitters is a community group for knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers of all ages living in or near Prescott Arizona. Join us on Ravelry!

We meet locally at various locations and invite crafters of all levels of expertise to join us. We believe in supporting local businesses and encourage our members to support our area yarn shops whenever possible, while recognizing that some specialty items can only be found elsewhere. In joining together to create handmade items from fiber, we are honoring a skill that dates back to Cleopatra's t

ime; a true legacy art. We don't charge dues, or other membership fees. We don't offer classes, although we are happy to help one another with projects. For basic lessons, we refer interested parties to the yarn shops in our area. We are unaffiliated with any other group, such as a church or retail shop. Upcoming fiber-y fun times:

In just two weeks (May 31 & June 1), Flag Wool & Fiber Festival will be taking place at the Pioneer Museum in Flagstaff: https://www.flagwool.com/

And then two weeks later, we will be celebrating World Wide Knit in Public Day on Saturday June 14.
As is our tradition (and also where we began!), Prescott Knitters will be at the Prescott Farmers Market that morning: Knitting/Spinning/Crocheting in public; Sharing our love of all things yarn and fiber; and Generally Having an Awesome Fun Time.

Edited to add the verdict: 2025 dates will be September 11-14!

It's cold and snowy and crafty minds turn to the prospect of nicer weather and Knit n Camp!

We are seeking input on Knit n Camp dates for this year. Do we stick to the weekend after Labor Day (Sept. 4-7) or revert to our former "second weekend of September" (which is sometimes the weekend after Labor Day) (Sept. 11-14) or ???
