Last night I was pulled over. The officer came up to my window and told me what the speed limit was, asked me to slow down, told me that kids are out of school (of course, it's 8:40 PM), and asked me the completely irrelevant bu****it trap question "Where are you headed?"
He didn't know who I was, which is fine. When they do, they usually say something to acknowledge it. Not this character. I gave him my license, registration, and insurance as requested. He seemed friendly and cocky at the same time. He went to his unit and was in there a good 5 minutes or so.
He came back to my window, handed me my paperwork back, and told me to have a good night. That's it No ticket, no warning, no explanation, no instruction, no "stay safe," no nothing. Just a "go on."
I'm guessing when he called it in, someone told him something. So good morning to whoever told him "that's the meme guy, let that man go." 😂🫶
