Join Diakon Living & Learning After 50 and Boscov’s Travel for a travel presentation to learn all about the 2027 travel opportunity: a 5-night cruise to Bermuda onboard the stunning Norwegian Luna, sailing September 12-17, 2027. We will also present the still available 2026 travel opportunity: a 4-night Dollywood: Smoky Mountain Christmas motorcoach tour, traveling December 1-5 2026. The Bermuda cruise highlights include roundtrip transportation to the NYC cruise terminal (no need to fly!), 5-nights accommodations onboard the newest ship in Norwegian's fleet, the Norwegian Luna, unlimited open bar package, specialty dining package, prepaid shipboard gratuities, $100 onboard credit per stateroom and more! We’re excited to be part of Penn State Extension’s inaugural Healthy Aging Fair at Penn State Schuylkill on Friday, May 1st from 3–6 PM. Visit our table to learn more about how Diakon supports older adults in our community, explore our wellness programs, and discover meaningful volunteer opportunities.

Whether you're looking for resources, ways to stay active and healthy, or opportunities to give back, there’s something for everyone. Plus, enjoy an afternoon of helpful information, community connections, and chances to win great door prizes!

The Older Artists of PA Showcase 2026 is open for entries. This juried exhibition, hosted by PDA and Pennsylvania Creative Industries/Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, welcomes all artists over age 60, living in Pennsylvania.

This year, the Showcase will proudly feature the creative contributions of older adults living with dementia recognizing artistic expression can be a powerful tool for connection, identity, and storytelling. We encourage submissions from all eligible artists, especially older adults living with dementia.

Artists will choose one of three categories:
• Professional
• Non-professional
• Artist Over Age 60 Living with Dementia

Due to the installation of new gym lights at the Schuylkill Haven Rec Center, all morning classes are canceled this week,
April 27–May 1.
