🧡On August 19th, we held our very first lunch meeting to kick off the year! As students came in, they were given a brief explanation about everything going on, and were given pizza afterward. We thank you all for attending, hope you had fun! 💚 🍕

💛 Meet the Officers - day 6! 💙
Greetings everyone! My name is Mia Ceballos and I’m serving as your Chapter President! I am a current senior and this will be my fourth year in FFA as well as my second year as an officer. My SAE Project is taking care of plants. My favorite memories from FFA are the classes where I’ve met some of the closest friends, alongside with the night meetings and the smiles that come with it.
Outside of my blue jacket, you’ll find me baking for my family, reading books to escape reality, talking/hanging out with my friends, and being academically focused on my college courses to pursue my Associate’s degree.
I’m looking forward to making this year memorable and a great experience for all members! If you ever need anything, don’t be afraid to say hello and interact with me!

💛 Meet the officers - Day 5! 💙
“Hi guys! My name is Grace Funderburk and I am going to serve as your chapter vice president for the 2026-2027 school year! I’m currently a senior and when I’m not at school, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and watching movies. My SAE is showing a pig at the Porterville Fair. I have been showing pigs for 7 years and it has been one of the greatest experiences FFA has given me. My favorite part of FFA is all the fun trips we take like the state convention in Ontario, and soon national convention in Indianapolis. I’m so excited to serve as the chapter vice president and make new memories!”

“Hello everyone! I am Aracely Ortiz, a sophomore serving as your chapter treasurer this year. My favorite aspect of FFA is staying active and engaged by attending every meeting, field trip, and fundraiser. Outside my love for FFA I’m playing guitar, listening to music or drawing a masterpiece. While my SAE last year focused on raising chickens, I am excited to try something completely new this year. I plan to transition to small animals by showing a bunny or raising Market Meat Rabbits for the Porterville Fair. I'm looking forward to a great year with all you guys!”

“What’s up everyone! I’m Jacob Gray and i’ll be serving as your chapter reporter! Im currently a sophomore, and this will be my second year in FFA. My favorite memories from my FFA experience were the Ag Mechanics competitions, where we’d wake up at 3 am, get in a car for 2 hours and then compete. And state finals where we all went to SLO and spent a day all hanging out together!
Outside of FFA, you’ll find me riding my bike, talking a lot, spending time outdoors, and always looking for new friends.. My current SAE is basic egg production but i’m looking into peacocks!!
I’m looking forward to this year with all of you and i hope we can make it the best, cant wait to see you!”

✨Porterville Fair 2026✨

Now that everyone is well rested from fair and fair banquet😊

What a week at the Porterville Fair! We are incredibly proud of all of our exhibitors for their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the fair. From class winners to champions, our students represented our program so well in and out of the show ring.

A special congratulations to our showmanship winners who advanced to Round Robin — an amazing accomplishment that reflects all the time and effort put into their projects. Thank you to our families, supporters, and community for cheering our students on every step of the way. We couldn’t be prouder! 🧡💚
