Sierra View Foundation The Sierra View (SV) Foundation was established in 1992 as a non-profit 501c(3) organization.

The Foundation is a separate entity from Sierra View Medical Center, and is guided by a 12-member voluntary board of trustees of local community leaders. he Sierra View Foundation is to invest in the future by promoting community philanthropy, building lasting relationships, and promoting a positive image of Sierra View Medical Center. The Foundation approaches this mission in three primary ways: raising funds and awareness for the hospital, encouraging donors to have a lasting legacy, and seeking grant opportunities to expand and strengthen healthcare services.

Join the Sierra View Foundation and presenting sponsor Bank of the Sierra on Friday, September 18, at Eagle Mountain Casino for an evening of casino games, the Skyline Sweepstakes, and a Dessert Auction, all in support of local healthcare. Proceeds from this year’s event will help purchase a new echocardiography and ultrasound imaging system for Sierra View Medical Center, supporting both cardiac and cancer care for patients in Tulare County.

On behalf of the Sierra View Foundation, we had a tee-rific time at the 21st Annual Sierra View Golf Classic at River Island Country Club! 🏌️

With support from our presenting sponsor, Bank of the Sierra, and more than 115 golfers and 28 sponsors, this year’s tournament was a hole-in-one for local health care. Proceeds will help fund a new echocardiogram machine at Sierra View Medical Center, supporting earlier diagnosis, heart health monitoring, and cancer care for our community.

There is construction on Highway 190 west of River Island Country Club causing delays this morning. Please allow at least 30 extra minutes to get to the course.

For the fastest route, please enter River Island Country Club in your GPS. If you are coming from Tulare, Visalia, or Lindsay, go through Strathmore and take Road 176 to avoid the construction.

Final call for raffle tickets! 🚨

Raffle ticket sales for the Sierra View Golf Classic close TOMORROW at 10 AM. This year includes two chances to win, with the Liquid Assets Drawing featuring a loaded YETI cooler and an online raffle with a variety of great prizes. Liquid Assets tickets are $10 each or five for $20, and online raffle tickets are 10 for $15, 20 for $20, or 40 for $30. 🎟️

Tickets are available online through April 10 at 10 AM. Winners will be selected on tournament day, and you do not need to be present to win. Last week, the Sierra View Foundation was proud to donate $500 to support Sierra View Medical Center's Chaplaincy Department for Blessing of the Hands.

Blessing of the Hands takes place during Nurses Week and honors the care nurses provide each day. During the blessing, a chaplain gently holds each nurse’s hands and shares a brief blessing for them and the work they do. Each nurse also receives a folder of blessings and a fresh carnation as a symbol of appreciation and support.

We are proud to support moments like this that recognize the dedication of our nurses and the care provided by our Chaplaincy team.
