I tried to make an unboxing video like Jenna used to do… but I’m definitely not as good at it as she was. 💜

Today is August 24th. 💛

Eight months since we last held you. Eight months since you’ve been watching over us. And somehow, we just keep missing you more and more.

Today I’m sharing one of those memories that makes me smile and cry at the same time — Jenna opening the goodies Nine Line sent her. 🥹 She was SO excited. She genuinely loved Nine Line, and seeing that sweet smile and excitement again means everything.

Jenna loved her Nine Line — and so did her Pa. ❤️🇺🇸 I swear, between the two of them, there was always a Nine Line shirt or hat somewhere. And I absolutely love that this was something they shared.

She wore Nine Line to appointments, at the hospital, out to eat, on the boat, hanging with her favorite people… just living her life. It became part of her.

I’ve been waiting to share a little something we’ve been working on for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month… and it’s finally coming together. ⭐️

Today, Team Jenna Tuesday is simply about prayer. 🙏🎗️

Prayers for all of our precious angels who fought so incredibly hard and are missed every single second. ⭐️

Prayers for every warrior fighting right now, for their strength, their healing, their families, and the doctors and nurses caring for them.

And prayers for the families walking this road—the ones holding onto hope and the ones learning how to carry an unimaginable loss.

Sheriff Mike Chitwood is truly one of the good ones. 💙 His kindness, support, and compassion have meant more to our family than I could ever put into words. An amazing human being and an amazing Sheriff.

⚾️ He’ll be at the Daytona Tortugas game TONIGHT for First Responders Night, signing autographs from 5:30–6:30 PM!

Today feels so bittersweet. 💔

I wish more than anything I had a first-day-of-school picture of Jenna to post today. I wish I was rushing around this morning, taking the pictures, complaining about the traffic, and hearing all about her day when she got home.

I miss her more than words will ever explain.

But there is also a piece of my heart that finds peace knowing she isn’t suffering anymore. 🤍

And somehow, even through the hurt, I truly LOVE seeing all of my friends’ and family’s kids heading back to school today. The pictures, the smiles, how much they’ve grown… all of it. 🥹

Grief is so strange. You can be heartbroken for what you’re missing and genuinely happy for everyone else at the exact same time.

So today I’m holding both. 💜
Missing my girl like crazy… and loving seeing all of yours. 🎒✏️
