Hey Sugar Mill Family! This is Aaron Bornhoft signing off. I'm taking away my Facebook access rights to the pta pages and group after this post. I appreciate all the families, businesses that have given financial support, volunteer support, over the last 7+ years I've been apart of the PTA or the last 5 years being on the PTA board, y'all have been truly amazing! I've worked alongside these other board members that give and gave it their all even though life's crazy circumstances, from family issues, covid and at home learning, to multiple flooding events, we all work full time, and set aside time to do our best to run a PTA that gave back the best we could to the Students, Teachers, and Families of Sugar Mill.
It's been a blast seeing the students grow through all these years many of whom still say Hi or call me out in random places around town as the pta guy, or elf from the holiday shop, color run guy, or most common Rustin/Zanes Dad! I'll miss it for sure but excited to move on also 😅
The last thing I can leave with if you still have students going here, join the PTA, you don't have to do anything, become a member if only to stay informed, you are not required to volunteer or actually commit to anything if you don't want to! be sure to join the PTA anytime after July 1 for the new school year. Also remember if you want to volunteer that you will need to do a new volunteer application after July 1. Don't forget to keep scanning receipts on the Box Tops app or if you haven't done so sign up and add Sugarmill to Support! Here is to continued success and your PTA is in great hands with the new board 👏🙌🥳
