Being brought up as a Parishioner of the beautiful Parish of Holy Rosary Church, and having roots in the Bowery, I was taught at a very young age of just how important Don Bosco was and is, and how blessed we were to have the Salesian order in our lives. The Don Bosco Center(The Dons), Holy Rosary Church and Holy Rosary School made a huge difference in many Italian immigrants lives over the years, especially to those families living in the Bowery area of Port Chester.
