Project Sister Family Services (PSFS) is the foremost agency dedicated to providing services to the women, children, and men survivors of sexual assault and abuse and their families in the East San Gabriel and Inland Valleys in Southern California, a region with a population of over 2.3 million persons. Project Sister Family Services works with local law enforcement, district attorneys, courts, hospital and health care providers, schools, churches and other community groups and agencies.

Kick off the month of October with us at CPP’s The Hub as we host Healthy Relationships with SAS! We’ll have some goodies for folks who attend. It’s open to the community and CPP students. Register with Community Innovation Hub today! ❤️

Can’t make it? No worries, you can hang out with us at the Pomona Art Walk! Enjoy community, delicious food, Halloween costumes, and free swag at the PSFS booth (while supplies last)! 🦇

Join us for another event free to the community on October 17th at the The Ashes & Honey Healing Collection: From Hurt to Healing, a free, trauma-informed community event designed to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, gun violence, su***de loss, and other forms of trauma. Registration will be posted soon and can be found with a quick search 🍯

You can also find us at Pink With Purpose, a free breast cancer awareness month event focused on access to women’s health. Receive free screenings and a free mammogram with registration. Register today through Assemblymember Michelle Rodriguez’s website. 👩‍⚕️

As more information about the 2024 Title IX case from Cornell University is brought to the media and socials, please remember to take care of yourself. Turn your phone off for a few hours and take a walk, listen to a new album, spend time with your pet, or sink into a comfort movie.

This case is informally referred to as the “Cornell 7” Case.

Project Sister Family Services stands behind Jane Doe, and all of the Jane Does that have come before her. She is not alone. You are not alone. It wasn’t your fault.

CONGRATS TO OUR ADVOCATE OF THE MONTH 🎉 Sam has been an advocate since February 2026. In addition to her advocacy on the hotline and during accompaniments, she has completed her in-office internship hours with PSFS, thus marking the completion of a major requirement in her Bachelors of Social Work. She will be graduating this fall!

With Lola joining our team and beginning to take on clients, we’re excited to expand access to counseling and connect more community members with supportive, trauma-informed care.

Lola will work with clients under the supervision of our licensed clinical team, helping create a safe and supportive space for individuals on their healing journey.

We are excited to welcome Maddy to the team!

Maddy is another new addition to the PSFS Counseling Department. With a heart for survivors, she cares for the community through providing counseling services. Her participation helps keep our waitlist at a minimum and allows our team to see more clients in need of counseling. She will provide counseling services under the supervision of our licensed clinical team, working alongside our counselors to support clients through their healing journeys.
