Many of Cal Poly Pomona's 130,000 alumni have remained active with the university by joining the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association. There are 9 special interest alumni chapters and clubs that any member of the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association (CPPAA) is eligible to join.

As we begin this new year together, with our new president, Vanya Quiñones, there’s lots to look forward to—including exciting alumni events, career readiness opportunities, and a growing CPP Bronco Mentoring Network. A sommelier is a trained professional who has the skills to offer tableside w**e service, but did you know they can do more? Sommeliers create w**e lists, coordinate food pairings, facilitate w**e education and are even sometimes responsible for all beverages, including b**r, sake, spirits and cocktails.

The Collins College is proud to host Intro to Somm in the W**e Auditorium as a private Broncos-only course. After passing the Introductory Sommelier Course and Examination here, you’ll earn a certificate and become eligible to sit for the Certified Sommelier Examination.
