We think we do a pretty good job finding homes for our adoptive dogs. We carefully vet every application and every potential adopter to try to make sure that we are doing right by our rescue dogs. Sometimes our expectations are exceeded! When we receive an update like this one, it just really makes the hard days worth it.

Hi Nancy! We adopted Max (now Marley) almost a year ago, and I wanted to share a little update with you!

Marley has been such a wonderful addition to our family and was our very first dog together. We love him more than words can say, and we’re so grateful that you trusted us to give him a home. We truly appreciate the amazing work you and your team do and the wonderful program you’re a part of. It’s so special to see the difference you make in these dogs’ lives!

Marley is now accompanied by his sister, Zula, who we also adopted. The two of them are the best of friends and absolutely adore each other. It makes us so happy to see the bond they share!

I wanted to share a some photos of Marley throughout this past year so you can see how he’s doing. We feel so lucky to have him in our lives! ❤️

Meet Kit. Kit is a one to two year old mixed breed neutered male. We usually like to attempt to at least guess on breed, but Kit has us stumped so your guess is better than ours in this case!!! He weighs about 40 pounds and has boundless energy. He gets along well with other dogs and is very people friendly. The ideal owner will have an active lifestyle and Kit will happily join in. He has had professional training and has learned to rein in his exuberance and settle. He’s a smart boy and is just looking for that someone to be his person.

Does anyone have information about a drone service that can help search a wooded marshy area? Please contact us if you do!!!! We have a live trap set up with the help of Animal Control but need to do more before the weather changes!

We fear Chloe may have crossed the highway at some point. We are setting up a live trap in the area in hopes of safely catching her.

Please continue reporting any sightings with the location, time, and direction she was traveling.

Chloe was in the process of transitioning to her new foster home when she managed to slip BOTH her collar and harness and took off around 4:30 PM today (October 19th).

Chloe is a very scared girl, and we are extremely worried about her. She is frightened and will most likely NOT come to anyone if approached.

⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT CHASE HER! If you spot Chloe, please do not run after her, call out to her, or try to catch her. This could cause her to panic and run even farther.

How it started vs. how it’s going. 🥹 The days are long and progress is slow, but Radar isn’t giving up. He’s come a long way, and we’re so proud of this boy! ❤️

And the third little girl in this litter is Holly. She is all shiny black with a little white chin. Holly loves other dogs and has done well with a three year old. Holly has had her first vaccines and has been wormed. She is looking for a home!! Potty and crate training are coming right along. Adoption fee is 250 with a spay arrangement at 4 months.

Next up is Aspen. Eight weeks old with appropriate vaccines for her age. Friendly and sweet with a shiny soft black coat. She’s the most precious girl with pick me eyes!! Pick Aspen today. You won’t be sorry. She still has puppy breath and loves cuddles.

Birch is an eight week old male shepherd cross (on mamas side). Daddy’s side is unknown but the ears might suggest some kind of hound dog. He is one of three healthy, happy and well socialized littermates. He has had his first vaccines and has been wormed and is looking for a home!! He will probably be a medium size adult. He has a beautiful shiny black coat and sweet puppy dog eyes. His adoption fee is 250 and will include a neuter agreement when he is four months old.

The boys do not need to stay together. Smoke has already found a foster home. There will be a rehoming fee and it will depend on vaccines and medical care that might be necessary before these dogs are placed.

Buzz, Charlie and Smoke are all looking for new homes. Sadly their owner is facing a terminal illness and these beautiful gentlemen are all in need of immediate placement. Buzz is an 8 year old border collie. Charlie is a 4 year old Aussie. And Smoke is the 12 year old Aussie. They are all dog and people friendly.
