Ive always been fascinated by the unknown; the places of mystery, cases that have bewildered and went unsolved and all the possibilities in a world where so many questions have been answered yet so many continue to raise eyebrows and suspicions.
Cattle mutilations have been on the noggin for the last couple weeks, not sure why but I decided it was time to do more digging as I had heard of a case a few years back in the Polson area. While I uncovered the details to that, I also uncovered the cases from the 1970s where 1500 plus cattle were found mutilated scattered across western states, Montana was one of them. These cases rattled the nation and caused widespread fear and angst among farmers and their communities, hundreds of thousands of dollars of valuable meat were lost. The FBI at one point did get involved but it appears there has still been no rational explanation.
What is fascinating (but also extremely unsettling) is the conditions the cattle were found. In most cases the skin along on side of the face, mostly the Left side from what I found, would be removed with surgical precision from the jaw up to the eye, the eye on the same side would be removed, an ear (or part of it), select organs, in many cases the sexual reproductive ones including the a**s, and the carcass would be devoid of blood. One of the stranger aspects in my opinion was the fact that scavenging animals would completely avoid the remains, in some instances the remains did not decompose as normal. No tracks could be found either next to or around the body, some of the areas were so remote with no access or roads for miles. In one of the cases it was reported that it appeared the cattle had been dropped from above as there was an impression a few feet away from where the cattle was found indicating it apparently "bounced" from the original spot. These farmers who found their animals in this way were extremely disturbed having been involved with cattle most, if not all of their lives and privy to what a "normal" animal attack looks like. Autopsies were performed when possible in many cases and it was agreed that natural predators and other natural causes (lightning?) were not the culprit. The incisions were too precise, almost appearing to be laser-cut. The blood-less remains with such specific pieces taken yet the most sought after cuts of meat left untouched. Puzzling for sure, they were angry and scared and rightfully so!
Another interesting aspect to this is the influx of UFO (unidentified flying objects) sightings that occur during the time of the mutilations, some reported seeing lights/crafts above or near the cattle before finding the carcass. Others reported mysterious helicopters very active patrolling around the area where the cattle were coming up in these distressing conditions, if the Government or agencies were/are involved, their silence is highly questionable.
There are many theories as to who (or what) is responsible however until a perpetrator is caught red-handed or concrete video evidence surfaces, it will remain a mystery as to why so many were found during those years and why still to this day, the mutilations continue. Is it nefarious aliens coming to harvest certain organs/skin for their own scientific studies/experiments? Is it a well-equipped cult of weirdos who wine and dine on the blood and innards of (mostly) cows? Or is it a secret Pentagon program to monitor herds for bovine illnesses? I, myself am not quite set on a certain possibility. What do you think?
