Mama Peach was spayed yesterday at Forreston Vet Clinic. It went very well. She was also microchipped and given her booster shots.

She also tested negative for FIV and FeLv.

The day before I had just gotten to where she would come out from under the couch when I was around.

When I had to practically chase her around the room to get her in a carrier to go to the vet I'm afraid I sent her trust in me way back. 😔

I made her a little nest behind the couch with food and water near, so she wouldn't have to venture out far as she recovers.

Hopefully with love and patience I can regain that trust and spend the next few months getting her to a place where she would be comfortable being adopted into someone's home.

Remember Gordon? The sweet tiny baby that was brought to me by a kind lady because he was alone and crying in a bush?

His name is now Odin and the wonderful family that adopted him has me take their dog out to potty sometimes.

Today I noticed I was wearing the exact same shirt I wore two years ago when he was first brought to me.

Talk about a glow-up!

Pretty black kitty has been named Luna by her foster family. ❤️

She's so sweet and starting to feel comfortable now that she's safe, dry, and warm.

Spay day is Nov 6th.

Some people think black cats aren't photogenic. I think they are beautiful and elegant voids with sparkling eyeballs. 🖤

This pretty kitty had her wellness exam at Forreston Vet Clinic today. There was no microchip found. If she belongs to you please contact us!

She was found two nights ago crying at someone's door wet, and hungry. She was near the bank and Polo Fresh Food Market in Polo.

She is estimated to be around 8-10 months old. She's a bit on the skinny side, but we intend to change that!

She has ear mites and flea dirt was present. Otherwise she is in pretty good shape.

She received her rabies, FeLv, and FCRP vaccines.

If she remains unclaimed she has a spay appointment at Forreston Vet Clinic set for November 6th.

Since I have Mama Peach, this kitty is being cared for by our other foster family where she is absolutely loved, spoiled, and treated like one of their own.

A lot of Amazing vet clinics help us out with appointments, spays/neuters, and specialized procedures. Polo Animal Hospital, Happy Tails, Milledgeville vet clinic , and River Ridge are among those appreciated clinics. ❤️

But Forreston Veterinary Clinic has been our #1 resource for the last 6 years.

They have generously agreed to accept donations on PHP's behalf.

Daisy just went to be with her forever family! She is definitely going to be a daddy's girl. 😸

All 5 of Mama Peach's Mario Party kittens have wonderful forever homes!🥳

Now I need to slowly and patiently work with Mama Peach to get her to trust humans again. Hopefully in the next few months she will be comfortable enough to be adopted.

Anyone recognize this black beauty?

I got a call from a concerned resident about a little black kitty out in the rain that seemed extremely hungry and scared.

She was hanging out by a house near Polo Fresh Food Market.

I'm pretty sure she's a female (possibly neutered male, can't look that close yet). Very friendly. Looks to be on the young side. Maybe not even a year old yet.

She's safe and warm now in my octagon enclosure. She's kept in there separated from Peach and Daisy.

In the morning I will call the vet to see if she's microchipped and to get a wellness check.

Mama Peach's Mario Party litter definitely had a reason to party tonight! 🥳

Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and Yoshi all went to their wonderful forever homes!

Daisy also has a meet n greet set up for tomorrow!

I will keep working with Mama Peach to help her trust again and hopefully I can get her comfortable enough to be a lap cat.

Such a wonderful outcome for this little family that some heartless monster tossed on the side of the road.

They will all spend their lives happy and loved. ❤️
