PARNELL’S 12 DAYS HISTORY: Our History originally began out of Andy and Amy’s Parnell Tavern in November/December of 2020, when a good friend of the locals had a premature baby and needed some extra assistance. It was a hit so we continued it out of the tavern for a couple years with specific recipients of the funds we raised for locals that needed it through 2022. We registered with the State as
a non-profit organization with a simple but powerful mission: to pay it forward by bringing hope, joy, and practical support to those who need it most in our community. What began as a heartfelt effort to make the holiday season brighter for a few families has quickly grown into a a movement of generosity and connection with our local community. Rooted in the belief that small acts of kindness can create lasting change, Parnell 12 Days of Christmas focuses on helping local families in need, veterans, children, and the elderly—especially throughout the year instead of just the holiday season. Last year (2024) we helped out 7 families 5 benefit events, Ronald McDonald House (Milwaukee), the elderly at Meadowview Health Services and Southern Horizons Assisted Living. We were able to do that through our 2023 Passport Book Event (with the mission to support our local businesses that support our cause) and 2 Bingo Pub Crawls in 2024. Driven entirely by community support and the spirit of giving, Parnell 12 Days of Christmas continues to grow, proving that when people come together with love and purpose, incredible things can happen.
