Fellow Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of District 5280,
October is Polio Awareness Month, and we encourage every club to consider hosting a PolioPlus fundraiser or awareness event leading up to World Polio Day on October 24th.

Rotary has spent decades leading the global effort to eradicate polio, and because of that commitment, we are now 99% of the way there. But until polio is eradicated everywhere, children everywhere remain at risk.

Whether you host a Polio Walk, Pints for Polio, a club fundraiser, educational presentation, social media campaign, or another creative event, every effort helps raise awareness and critical funds for this historic cause. Better yet, collaborate with neighboring Rotary and Rotaract clubs to amplify your impact and engage more communities throughout District 5280.

Once you've raised funds, make your contribution through myRotary.org by selecting PolioPlus. Need a thought partner? Reach out to our PolioPlus Chair, or We would be honored to support your planning and implementation efforts.
