🎨 Call for Artists: Historic Downtown Plattsmouth Mural 🎨
The Historic Downtown Plattsmouth Association Mural Committee is inviting muralists and visual artists to submit proposals for a Victorian-inspired mural on the Historic Downtown Public Restrooms Building.
We’re looking for a design that captures Plattsmouth’s heritage, natural beauty, pioneering spirit, and Victorian-era charm—while providing clear, welcoming restroom signage in the heart of downtown.
Who can apply: Individual artists or collaboratives of any experience level. Nebraska-based artists and those experienced in public art, outdoor murals, historical, or Victorian styles are especially encouraged.
Timeline: Proposals due December 18, 2026. Anticipated mural completion date April 30, 2027.
