A big thank you to Al at Frontline Gunwerks in downtown Plattsmouth for his generous donation of emergency go bags to the police department. Our fleet of cruisers will now be equipped with these go bags that are used to store a variety of supplies our officers might need for quick deployment in emergency situations.

It’s that time of year again when you’ll see extra law enforcement on the roads of Plattsmouth (and all over the state). Thanks again to a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office, we’ll have extra patrol out starting today and going through the new year specifically looking for impaired drivers. Remember, it’s not worth it to drive drunk. Find a designated driver and enjoy the holiday season without risking your life or the life of others because of a poor choice. Have a safe and happy holiday season!

Click It or Ticket...

Thanks to a grant from the Nebraska Highway Safety Office, Officers from the Plattsmouth Police Department will be conducting extra patrol this extended holiday weekend. This is routinely one of the busiest travel holidays of the year, so please don’t forget to put on those seatbelts and drive carefully. We hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday weekend!
