Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination of the men who stormed the beaches of Normandy 82 years ago. Their actions on June 6, 1944, changed the course of history and helped secure the freedoms we cherish today.

As we honor the heroes of the Greatest Generation, we reflect on the extraordinary price they paid and the legacy they entrusted to all who follow.

May we never forget the sacrifices made on the shores of Normandy, the lives forever changed, and the profound debt of gratitude we owe those who answered the call when freedom needed them most.

🇺🇸 BATTLE OF MIDWAY REMEMBRANCE 🇺🇸 June 4–7, 1942 🌹 Eighty-four years ago, in the vast waters of the Pacific, a battle unfolded that would change the course of World War II. Against tremendous odds, American sailors, aviators, and Marines demonstrated extraordinary courage, determination, and sacrifice during the Battle of Midway.

Honor Flight South Florida honors the heroes of the Battle of Midway - a turning point in the Pacific and a victory built on courage, sacrifice, and resolve. We remember those who served and the legacy they left behind. 🇺🇸Never forget.

Jack Boeki flew with Honor Flight South Florida in October 2019. Today, at 102 years young, he returns to the beaches of Normandy for the first time in 82 years—representing the brothers-in-arms who stood beside him and those who never made it home.

We salute this American hero and the Greatest Generation he so proudly represents. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
