🌎🦁 EARTH DAY 2025 = LION PRIDE SUCCESS! 🦁🏖️

Hey Lions, friends, neighbors, and planet lovers — Earth Day happened and it was a huge success at a cleaner Dania Beach & Hollywood Beach, Florida! 😍🌿 We cleaned, celebrated, and showed our planet some serious love! 🌱✨
Hollywood Lions Club Cleanup crushed it at Hollywood Beach Golf Course! Met at the new clubhouse (1645 Polk St.) from 3–4 PM — sunshine, good vibes, trash picked, and epic team spirit! ☀️🧹💚

Ribbon Cutting ROCKED at Frost Park (300 NE 2nd St., Dania Beach) 4:30–5:30 PM! Cut the ribbon on our recycled plastic bench (1,000+ lbs of community plastic!) 🙌🎀♻️
Clean up. Celebrate. Give back. — Nailed it! 🌟🎉

Golf Course ribbon cutting? We were too tired from all the good work (worth it!), but loved the drone show videos everyone shared! 📹✨🚀

F - - - CANCER! 😥 ... but ☘️💚 St. Patrick’s Day is FuN = The Hollywood St. Patrick's Day Parade with The Hollywood Lions Club Invitation! 💚☘️

☆ Friends — if you know someone with a disability, a senior, or anyone who is terminally ill and would enjoy some parade fun, I’d love to invite them to ride with us, this Sunday in the Hollywood St. Patricks Day Parade & Festival! 🎉We’ll be rolling with the Hollywood Lions Club 🦁, and our golf cart — the Blue Raven 🐦 — will be transforming into The Green Raven 💚🚙 for the day. We’ll be spreading Lionism, kindness, and fUn all along the parade route! 🏁
☆☆ This post is dedicated to my dear friend Steven Pinder, who passed last year. 💔 Steve joined us in the parade while battling cancer — he always wanted to be part of it, and he loved every minute & sip🍻 🍀 I miss him alot & honor him by keeping that spirit alive. So — if you know someone who’d love to join the ride and make a beautiful memory — I’ve got a seat ready for them on The Green Raven!

🌟 Calling All Hollywood Lions! 🌟

It’s that time of year again — time to start thinking about new Board of Directors for our upcoming Lions year! Our club thrives because of the passion, energy, and leadership of volunteers like YOU. 🦁💛We’re looking for members or soon to be, who want to step up and make a difference by serving in roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Tail Twister, Lion Tamer, or Membership Director. 🦁 Hey Lions! Tomorrow’s the big one — National Night Out! 🎉 Let’s show our Lions pride and community spirit! 🇺🇸When: Tuesday, Oct. 21st 🗓️
Where: Arts Park at Young Circle 🌳
Event Time: 6:00–9:00 PM 🌙
Set-up: 3:30–5:30 PM (Enter on SE portion behind the stage 🎪/Lion Rich will arrive at 430/5)
Check-In: Hollywood Police Tent 👮‍♀️
Parking: Free Public Parking 🚗
Lion Rich 👨 will be there representing us — but he needs a few Lions to join and help out! 🦁💪 Bring your smiles, wear your yellow Lion shirts / vests, maybe some candy for the kids 🍬 or anything else you want to bring the fun, and let’s make our presence ROAR! 🦁🔥 Big Roar

Hollywood Lions Club recycling challenge update:🌎💚

Bittersweet News from Hollywood Lions Club ♻️✨For 6+ amazing years and 9+ benches our club has collected soft plastic and turned it into beautiful benches across Hollywood & Dania with the help of Trex! 🪑🌳 We’re so proud of all the plastic we’ve kept out of landfills and the green spaces we’ve helped build together. 🙌But sadly, at the end of this year, we’ll be sunsetting our beloved plastic recycling program. 😢 Unless someone new—maybe YOUR group, club, or nonprofit—can step in, this will be our final lap. All it takes is a few caring people to collect, bag, and drop off the plastics at Winn-Dixie. The system is running itself… it just needs someone/s with a heart for the planet to keep the wheels turning. 🌱🛒If you or anyone you know is ready to grab the baton and keep the green legacy alive, please reach out to President Rich or Director of Operations Dale ASAP. We would love to see this “bench-warming” project continue! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💨

Even if this is the sunset, let’s celebrate the impact we’ve made together. THANK YOU for every bag, and bit of hope you gave. 💙🌅
