Welcome to the Cat Matchers page! The Cat Matchers page was created to further our mission of finding the “purr-fect” match for our adoptable cats and kittens. We are a no-kill rescue organization in the Dallas, TX area. This page is intended to share out Cat Matchers foster animals and those for whom we have agreed to help promote for adoption. We also use this page to share out adoption photos and follow ups, educational information on the care of animals, and other relevant content to our audience. We encourage and welcome postings and comments that are positive in nature. We also encourage former adopters to post and share updates on their adopted animals. Cat Matchers fosters are also welcome to post pictures of the available cats and kittens. We reserve the right to delete posts by individuals that are of a negative nature, offensive posts, inappropriate posts, and/or posts of animals available for adoption by a private individual or shelter with whom we are not partnered for rescuing cats and kittens. Should you need assistance from Cat Matchers with a cat or kitten needing rescue, please contact us via private Facebook message. We reserve the right to regulate the content of this page, and where necessary, delete content without notice to the poster. Here are the general posting guidelines:

2. Any postings about products or services must be pre-approved by a Cat Matchers board member or Cat Matchers Facebook admin

Smokey Joe has been adopted—and his new name is Logan!

Logan now has two human sisters who absolutely adore him and two canine siblings who became his best friends after only four days. It sounds like this charming fellow wasted no time making himself at home!

We couldn’t be happier for this beautiful and loving family. May all your days be filled with love, cuddles, plenty of adventures, and wonderful memories.

Here are a few more pictures of sweet Ocean—because one post simply was not enough for this pretty girl!

For anyone who missed her introduction, Ocean is about 2 years old and searching for a forever home. If adoption is not possible right now, she would also love a quiet foster home where she can be the one and only pet.

Ocean was barely out of the kitten stage herself when she became a mama. She did an amazing job raising her babies, and now it is finally her turn to be cared for.

She is sweet, gentle, and a little reserved. Ocean enjoys being petted—on her terms, of course—and is perfectly content relaxing nearby while quietly keeping her person company.

After raising a family, Ocean has more than earned her “only child” era. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the peaceful place she has been waiting for.

You can meet Ocean at the Cattastik Cat Expo today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.!

Meet Ocean, a beautiful girl with a gentle spirit and an independent nature.

We estimate Ocean is about 2 years old and was born sometime in early 2025. Ocean was still just a kitten herself when she had kittens. After caring for her little family, she is ready for a quiet home where she can finally be the one receiving all the love.

Ocean is sweet but a little reserved. She enjoys being petted—on her terms, of course—and is perfectly content relaxing nearby and quietly keeping her person company. She would be happiest as the only pet in her home. After raising kittens, she has earned her “only child” era!

If you are not in a position to adopt but have a pet-free home, fostering Ocean as your one and only feline may also be an option. A quiet foster home would give her a comfortable place to relax while she waits for her forever family.

Rain in the forecast? We’ve got a plan worth leaving the couch for—cats!

Join us at the Cattastik Cat Expo this weekend, October 3–4, in Fort Worth! Cat Matchers will have a booth filled with fun cat-themed items to shop and adoptable fur babies to meet. You might leave with a little something for yourself—or fall in love with your next family member!

Enjoy adoptable cats from rescues and shelters, the Catventure Challenge, expert panels, vendors, costume contests for you and your cat, karaoke, photo ops, and much more. Come for the fun, stay because a feline has claimed your lap.

Meet August—a tiny social butterfly who has never met a stranger!

Born June 15, 2026, August is an affectionate little girl who wants to be wherever her people are. She loves being petted, cuddled, and included in whatever you happen to be doing. Personal space? August has heard of it, but she is not convinced it is necessary.

This playful girl loves her toys even more when someone joins the fun. She also gets along wonderfully with other cats and will need a friendly feline companion in her forever home to play, snuggle, and grow up with.

When playtime is over, August happily trades her toys for a warm lap, where she can settle in, purr contentedly, and soak up all the attention she deserves.

There’s still time to find a treasure! The Cat Matchers garage sale is open until 3 p.m. today at 2401 Park View, Highland Village, TX 75077.

Many of these beautiful, well cared for items came from the estate of a wonderful volunteer we lost this year. We’d love to see them find new homes while supporting a rescue she cared about.

Come browse:

• L and XL clothing, including London Fog coats, Jones New York, and Chico’s. Some pieces still have their original tags!
• Unworn bras in larger sizes
• Unused kitchenware and office supplies
• Pet supplies, including items for reptiles and fish
• Lots and lots of craft supplies

All proceeds benefit Cat Matchers Rescue. Stop by if you can, and please share this post or tell a friend to help us spread the word!
