Welcome to the Cat Matchers page! The Cat Matchers page was created to further our mission of finding the “purr-fect” match for our adoptable cats and kittens. We are a no-kill rescue organization in the Dallas, TX area. This page is intended to share out Cat Matchers foster animals and those for whom we have agreed to help promote for adoption. We also use this page to share out adoption photos and follow ups, educational information on the care of animals, and other relevant content to our audience. We encourage and welcome postings and comments that are positive in nature. We also encourage former adopters to post and share updates on their adopted animals. Cat Matchers fosters are also welcome to post pictures of the available cats and kittens. We reserve the right to delete posts by individuals that are of a negative nature, offensive posts, inappropriate posts, and/or posts of animals available for adoption by a private individual or shelter with whom we are not partnered for rescuing cats and kittens. Should you need assistance from Cat Matchers with a cat or kitten needing rescue, please contact us via private Facebook message. We reserve the right to regulate the content of this page, and where necessary, delete content without notice to the poster. Here are the general posting guidelines:
1. Be nice, be polite, and watch your language
2. Any postings about products or services must be pre-approved by a Cat Matchers board member or Cat Matchers Facebook admin
3. Postings about cats or kittens available for adoption through other shelters, rescues or a private individual not fostering or affiliated with Cat Matchers must be pre-approved by a Cat Matchers Board member or page admin before posting. Come visit Cat Matchers at our adoption event today from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Castle Hills PetSmart!

You'll find plenty of adorable cats and kittens looking for loving homes, along with endless entertainment provided by our energetic and mischievous Kitten Committee. From playful pounces to gravity-defying zoomies, these little ones are sure to put a smile on your face.

Who knows? Your new best friend and newest family member may be waiting to meet you today.

Not quite ready to adopt? That's okay! We are always looking for foster homes and volunteers. The foster parents at the event would be happy to answer your questions and share how you can help Cat Matchers and the cats and kittens we serve. Whether you have time to foster, volunteer at events, help behind the scenes, or simply want to learn more, we'd love to chat with you.

Stop by, meet some amazing felines, and spend part of your afternoon with fellow cat lovers. We can't wait to see you!

Sweet Patches is settling into her temporary home at Petco on Preston Road in Plano.

Right now, she's feeling a little unsure about all the recent changes in her life. New surroundings, new sounds, and new faces can be a lot for a young girl to process. Even so, Patches is already showing everyone what a special cat she is. She may be a little shy, but she happily accepts gentle pets, kind words, and reassurance.

Once she feels safe and comfortable, Patches blossoms into a playful, affectionate sweetheart who loves attention and companionship. In fact, everyone at the veterinary clinic where she stayed after being spayed fell completely in love with her. She has a way of winning hearts wherever she goes.

Our hope is that Patches' stay at Petco is a short one. We'd love to see her find either a foster home where she can relax and be spoiled, or even better, the forever family she deserves.

If you've been thinking about adding a loving companion to your home, come meet Patches. We have a feeling this beautiful little cow-print girl won't stay available for long once people get to know her.

What better way to celebrate Hug Your Cat Day than by adopting a cat who is waiting for a family of their own? And if today doesn't work, tomorrow is just as perfect. Every cat deserves someone to love, and every adopter gains a loyal companion, a source of comfort, and a lifetime of memories.
