This evening, NJAOPS had the pleasure of attending a political event for Senate President Nicholas Scutari (D-22).

Representing NJAOPS were CEO Tajma Kotoric, Legislative Counsel Laurie Clark, Past President Stephen Scheinthal, DO, and Student Doctor Shamira Johnson.

NEW NEW JERSEY CME REQUIREMENT

The New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners has implemented a NEW CME mandate for the current licensure cycle (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027).

Physicians must complete a one-time, 2-hour CME requirement on:✔ Sexual Misconduct Prevention✔ Human Trafficking Awareness

At least 1 of the 2 hours must be LIVE Category 1 CME.

✔️AROC 2026 will offer BOTH required CME credits in one place.
