In an interview with TVAsia USA, Swami Shantananda ji shares how Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda spent his life awakening Hindus to their own culture and bringing the Bhagavad Gita, the essence of the Upanishads and โscriptural guidebookโ for Hindus, into peopleโs daily lives. In that spirit, Chinmaya Gita Samarpanam offers a global online chanting of Chapter 15, chosen because it is regarded as the very essence of the Gita and a fitting tribute to Gurudev.
This historic event is open to all organizations and all seekers, not only Chinmaya Mission members. Swamiji reminds us that mass chanting of the Gita can generate positive vibrations and peace in these troubled times, and invites everyone to join and inspire more people to study and live the Gita.
