🎺 Performance from Pittsburgh favorites brass-funk ensemble Beauty Slap (2 - 3:30 pm)

🛍️ Sustainable tote bag creation with Catherine Trendz (Noon - 3 pm)

🧶 ‘River Revel at Last Splash’ with Cheryl Capezzuti and Shiftworkspgh, featuring puppet making and large-scale puppet try-ons throughout the day, and culminating in the Great River Creature Parade at 3:00 pm.

🎛️ Afterparty with DJ Inception (5 - 7 pm)

🐲 River creatures with Cheryl Capezzuti are on the way!

🌊 Last night, Riverlife and Shiftworkspgh invited you to create a collection of backpack-style river creature puppet for Saturday's River Revel at The Last Splash. And there's more fun in store:

Participants on Saturday can try on puppets, create their own river creatures, meet musicians and puppeteers, and join the Great River Creature Parade (3:00 pm), followed by a puppet dance party along the riverfront.

No previous participation or puppetry experience is needed. Anyone can arrive on October 10 and join the celebration.

This Friday, Shore Thing will be the finish line for the Multi-Modal "Race" as part of 2026. Whether they're walking, rolling or riding to the North Shore, finishers and supporters will gather on board for a happy hour meet-up.

Riverlife is proud to support Week Without Driving, which calls attention to the challenges non-drivers face in our region so that we can address them. Every person deserves safe and convenient transportation options, no matter how they get around.

Make a splash with sustainability ♻️

Catherine Trendz will be back on Shore Thing for The Last Splash this Saturday, October 10 from Noon to 3 PM. The upcycling workshop with Catherine Trendz this summer was so popular, we had to run it back -- this time with a sustainable tote bag station event.
