Happy !
Micah has always loved movies and the way they immerse him in different worlds. But they became even more important when he was diagnosed with lymphoma last spring. “When I was diagnosed with cancer, one of the ways, you know, I got through that was just watching movies with my family,” Micah said to The Journal, Martinsburg, WV. “And that was something we all did together and we've always loved doing.”
So, when he qualified for a wish, Micah asked for a home theater. 🍿 “I wanted something that we could use for years to come and that we all could just enjoy and use together,” he said.
Micah's wish came to life with a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this month, and none of it would have been possible without the help of W. Harley Miller Systems, which generously donated its expertise and services to design and install the home theater system. 📽️✨ Make-A-Wish provided the sound system, acoustic paneling, projector and seating, and W. Harley Miller Systems took care of the rest, providing construction materials, labor and enlisting donors for other key items.
We are so grateful for everyone who came together to make Micah's wish come true, and we hope he enjoys countless hours of cinematic joy in his special space. ☺️❤️
