After much consideration and prayer, we've decided to cancel our Unity in the Community Day in the Park that was supposed to be tomorrow June 6th, 2026 at Fair Park in Pittsburg. We are already in preparation for our Annual Christmas Dinner on Dec 12th 2026 and our Day in the Park April 17th 2027. Please join us at these events for more resources, fun , food, and festivities.
Ps. If you are needing some projects done or know of someone in need please contact us for our upcoming work days. Thank you all for your continued support. All for His Glory! 🙌🙏😊

Unity in the Community will host its fifth annual Day in the Park on Saturday, offering free resources, food and activities to families in the area.

5th Annual Unity in the Community Day in the Park
We are excited to have yall at this year's event. Literacy is so super important. And to see a child's face light up when they have their own books is such a blessing. Please bring your children out to get a summer book. ❤️

Got books? Rather than throwing them away or donating them to a place that will profit, donate your books to the Open Pages Project for the upcoming community book exchange at Unity in the Community. The book exchange is a great way for children to get a free book to take home AND it keeps books out of the landfills. Book donations can be dropped off at Ruby + Begonia in Mount Pleasant TX or comment below or message me for other options.

Stay safe and stay warm!!

We are encouraging the community to prepare today for any impacts. Friday and Saturday will be too late.
· If you have critical medications, refill them now
· If you require medical equipment powered by electricity, have a plan to relocate if you experience a power outage
· If you have a generator, do not use it inside your home or garage. Do not plug a generator into your home electrical system
· Charge your devices (cell phones, iPads, etc.) and any back-up power packs
· Have extra water available

Happy Thanksgiving Day!! So thankful for what we get to do in and with our community. Its all about that wonderful and beautiful smile at the end. Thank you to Michele Strube Brad Strube and especially Ami for letting us be a part of their life for a day. We worked from morning to nightfall , but she's a happy girl. Thank you God ❤️ And thank you team of Unity in the Community. Now on to 4th Annual Christmas Dinner- Hat, Gloves, and blanket give away next weekend. So excited!!
