πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Today we honor our Vietnam War Veterans πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

On National Vietnam War Veterans Day, we take a moment to recognize and thank the men and women who served during the Vietnam War.

Many of these veterans returned home without the recognition they deserved, and today we say what should have always been said…

Welcome home, and thank you for your service. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

We are grateful for the veterans in our community and the sacrifices they made for our country.

If you know a Vietnam veteran, take a moment to thank them today.

Lou Conter, the last survivor of the USS Arizona (BB-39), has passed away at the age of 102. With his departure, the voices of that fateful day now exist only in memory, leaving the ship and its lost crew in a profound, eternal silence. He has now rejoined his shipmates, completing a journey that began on a day of infamy and ended in a peaceful rest.πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβš“
