Good morning and happy final week of our spring season! A lot going on today so here’s some very important information:

Please arrive as normal for your child’s race with bib filled out ready to go.

Our theme is Healthy kids spirit day. Have your child wear their healthy kids t-shirt.

We will have our Luau bubble dance party today. Please keep and eye on your child and make sure they don’t touch the bubble machines or any props that are out.

Our very our mascot Hero will be paying us a visit for you to take pictures with!!

Each runner signed up for the full series will receive a finisher medal after running their race today!

AFTER all races are completed we will hold our “victory lap”. This is where we let you run the 50 yrd dash with your little one and cross the finish line together. You MUST fill out the waiver and show our volunteer to be able to run. https://parentmile.paperform.co

If you have your child’s medal picture they received at packet pick up, be sure to hand it in at the registration table today.

We will have Frios frozen pops on site selling frozen pops for you guys to enjoy.

Also our sponsor Buttersworth beverages will be out with some awesome drinks for you as well.

As well as Amanda Murphy doing a reading of her children’s book for the little guys.

Finally AFTER all of this we will have our awards ceremony. We’d love to have you stick around and cheer on all of our award winners. Any race where the child was signed up for the full series they received points towards these totals. We will have the final totals by the time the victory lap is completed.

Hey everyone! As part of our final week we will once again do our victory lap! This is where we give the parents the chance to run through the finish line with your child. This will take place as always AFTER all races have been completed. It will be a 50
Yard dash. It’s always a fun time for the families.

Good morning everyone! I went out and walked the field and it is pretty much under water at this point. With the cumulative rain here the past few days let alone past 24 hours it’s not going to be safe nor enjoyable for anyone. Especially since it’s been raining heavily this morning and will continue for atleast the next hour or two.

Also Pitman twp closes their fields when there is standing water on them. So here we are.

Being it’s a holiday weekend we aren’t going to delay the decision to cancel today’s races. Everyone enjoy your time with your family and we’ll see you next Sunday for our final race of the season! Stay tuned for all of the fun we’ll have planned for next Sunday!

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!
A few quick hits:

Weather: not looking great… we will continue to monitor the weather over the next 24 hrs and keep you posted on any developments. Well work with the twp as well as take a look at field conditions prior to races and make a call either way. IF we do not run tomorrow, our final week will still be the 31st. But start tuned for that.

Theme: luau week!!! Dress in your Hawaiian Luau gear! We plan to set up a bubble dance party for the kids to enjoy! (IF we end up canceling we will still how the luau dance party next week. 😊)

Reminders: be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your child’s race start. Remind your little ones to not start until I actually say “GO”.

Good morning Healthy kids! A few reminders for tomorrow races.

Week 3 presented by our friends Musselman's! We will have a cup of apple sauce for every runner! We’d love it if you could bring a spoon or something to enjoy after your race. We’d love to see yours pictures with your applesauce.

Theme: character week! Let your kid dress as their favorite character or in their favorite character gear.

Weather: it’s going to be hot! Much hotter than we are used to at this point. Make sure they have cold water to drink before and after their race. Also a frozen wash cloth works well to cool them down. And yourselves!! Don’t forget to make sure you guys are prepared to watch in the hotter weather!

As always, try to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your race so we can move through promptly.

Theme: Career week! Dress your child as whatever they want to be when they get older.

Be sure to arrive ready to run with their bibs on prior to their start time.

Make sure we let them run their race to the best of their ability and keep parents off the course as best as we can. 😊
