The Pine Area Lions club started as a Lioness Club on March 14, 1983 at a meeting open to the public. On September 17, 1992, we became a Lions Club.

Lions Members - Join us for an online training seminar designed to give you the knowledge and skills needed to participate in Lions KidSight vision screenings.

The approximately one-hour training will cover:

👁️ The anatomy of the eye
🔎 Vision conditions we screen for
📱 How our screening instruments identify potential vision conditions for referral

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

On National Dog Day, we’d like to remember and recognize one of our former Lions members, Jane Robbins, whose love for dogs and our community left a lasting legacy. The Jane Robbins Memorial Dog Park was created in her memory right here in Pine City.

Her memory lives on in our community and among her fellow Lions members. ❤️

If you haven’t visited the dog park, grab your pup and check it out! 🐶🐾

Due to the Labor Day holiday and a few scheduling conflicts, the Pine Area Lions' next Board & General Meeting has been rescheduled.

🍽️ Dinner – 6:30 PM
🦁 General Meeting – 7:00 PM

🦁 Pine Area Lions Giving Back 🦁

The Pine Area Lions are proud to continue supporting our community through donations!

This month, we donated $2,294 to two great local youth programs:

🏐 Pine Club JO Volleyball — to help purchase equipment for their traveling team.

🏒 Pine City Youth Hockey — to cover one-half of the cost of the Learn to Skate program, helping introduce young skaters to the sport.

We are excited to see these programs excel and succeed in the upcoming season! We’re grateful to our members and supporters who make it possible for us to give back and invest in our community.

Pine Area Lions at Art in the Park! 🌮🎶🦁

The Pine Area Lions had so much fun selling walking tacos at Art in the Park last week! The music was great, the company was even better, and we’re so thankful for everyone who came out and supported us.

A big thank-you to all of our amazing volunteers who worked the event and help make it possible for us to give back to our community. And, of course, thank you to all of our wonderful community members who stopped by, enjoyed some delicious tacos, listened to some great music, and helped make the evening such a success!

We’re grateful to be part of such a supportive community. ❤️🦁

Come see the Pine Area Lions at Art in the Park at Robinson Park in downtown Pine City!

We'll be serving up delicious Walking Tacos starting at 5:30 PM, so be sure to grab one while they last!

Then, enjoy an evening of great music beginning at 6:30 PM featuring the FABBAULOUS ABBA Tribute Band.

What a fantastic weekend at the Pine County Fair! 🍔🎡

From flipping and serving burgers to taking part in the Pine County Parade, the Pine Area Lions had an amazing time connecting with our community. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and being part of all the fun!

Pictured are our President Lion Joni, our Vice President Lion Vicki, and Lion Nancy as they got ready to join the parade festivities.

If you stopped by our burger stand, waved to us during the parade, or are simply curious about how you can make a difference in your community, we'd love to meet you! The Pine Area Lions are always looking for new members who want to serve, give back, and have fun along the way.
