📢 Free Job Training Opportunity for Local Job Seekers
United Steelworkers Local 689 and the Tony Mazzocchi Center are launching a FREE Radiological Control Technician (RCT) Training Program to prepare local residents for employment opportunities at the DOE Piketon Site.

✅ Free tuition, books, and materials (grant‑funded)

STEM in action—powered by real stories, real educators, and real students.

Yesterday’s Appalachian STEM Event was an incredible day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration! We heard from educators who are actively implementing STEM and workforce opportunities in their schools and communities, sharing real‑world strategies, challenges, and successes.

We also had the privilege of hearing from three student groups who are making a difference in their schools by leaning into what they’re skilled at and passionate about—proof that when students understand their strengths, amazing things happen.
