Thank you to the Maricopa County Heat Relief Network and St. Mary's Food Bank for the generous pallet of water! As temperatures finally start to cool, we're closing out the last of the heat relief season, and every bottle helped keep our neighbors safe this summer.

A huge thank you also to Mario for lending his truck and to Mario, Kevin, and Justina for unloading it all. Your time and muscle made it happen!

❤️ **A Special Honor for Our Amazing Volunteers!** ❤️

Last night, Mr. and Mrs. Ward from the LDS Church surprised our very own volunteers, Michele Tallberg and Debbie Bilbo, with the **Heart of Service Medallion!** 🏅

This special national recognition, presented through a partnership between **America250 and JustServe**, honors extraordinary volunteers who make a difference in their communities through service and dedication.

We are SO proud of Michele and Debbie! Their compassion, generosity, and commitment to helping others mean so much to Backpacks 4 Kids AZ and the families we serve. 💕

What a wonderful and well-deserved honor! We are truly blessed to have such amazing volunteers who give their time and hearts to help others.

**Congratulations, Michele and Debbie!** Thank you for all you do to make a difference in our community. You are both an inspiration! ❤️👏
