🌲 Registration is open for EmpoweRanch’s third annual Veterans Camp Out! 🇺🇸

From August 28–30, veterans and active-duty military personnel are invited to spend three days and two nights camping in the beautiful pines near Christopher Creek.

The weekend will include shared meals and campfires, nature exploration, outdoor skills, a service project, an intentional unmounted equine experience, mindfulness practices, and Yoga Nidra guided by special guest Tara Cutner of Your Higher Ground, LLC.

At EmpoweRanch, enjoyment and therapeutic purpose work together. These experiences offer opportunities to have fun, try something new, practice skills for managing stress, build confidence, strengthen connections, and discover forms of healthy recreation that can support well-being beyond the weekend.

🍂 Fall Adventure Camp registration is officially OPEN! 🐴🌻

Give your child a fall break filled with meaningful adventures, new friendships, and opportunities to discover what they can do at EmpoweRanch!

With a max 4:1 camper-to-team-member ratio, EmpoweRanch brings professional expertise in therapeutic recreation, inclusive horsemanship, and environmental education into every day of camp.

Across five connected mornings, campers will:

🐴 Build hands-on horsemanship and animal-care skills
🌿 Explore nature and practice outdoor skills
🤝 Work together through cooperative challenges
🎨 Create, experiment, and discover new interests
⭐ Strengthen confidence, communication, leadership, and connection

Our welcoming, strengths-based approach allows children and teens with different abilities, experiences, and ways of engaging with the world to learn and thrive together, while having plenty of FUN!

🌲 Greetings from the forest! 🐴

For the past two months, Child Crisis Arizona’s Whispering Hope Ranch has served as EmpoweRanch’s northern Arizona base, with members of our team caring for our herd and flock throughout the summer. 💚

As the Preferred Vendor for therapeutic and adaptive equine experiences at Whispering Hope Ranch, we’ve had the honor of supporting children and adults with diverse abilities and life experiences, including campers who may be medically fragile, have experienced trauma, or be navigating challenging circumstances.

We’re grateful to be part of a community working together to create accessible, positive opportunities for connection, learning, growth, healing, and FUN in the beautiful ponderosa pines. 🌲✨

We have lots to catch you up on, so stay tuned for more stories from our summer in the pines! 🐴🐓🐾
