Invest in Our Youth. Invest in Grant Park. πŸ’šπŸ€

For generations, Grant Park has been more than just a park β€” it has been a safe haven, a second home, and a place of hope for countless youth in our community. Through sports, mentorship, education, and positive programming, Grant Park Barrio Youth Project serves 500+ youth and 1,500 families annually, helping keep at-risk teens engaged, inspired, and off the streets.

Now, we’re inviting our community’s leaders, businesses, and partners to stand with us at our Annual Grant Park Hall of Fame Fundraiser on June 5, 2026.

This special event helps us continue creating life-changing opportunities for the young people who need it most. From after-school programming and late-night basketball, to mentorship and family support, your sponsorship directly helps preserve this historic safe space in the heart of the Grant Park neighborhood.

We are looking for Legacy Supporters, Community Champions, and partners who believe in making a lasting impact. Together, we can continue the mission of uplifting our youth and strengthening our community for generations to come.

If your organization is looking to make a meaningful investment in Phoenix youth, we would be honored to partner with you.

Happy Birthday to our President, Earl Wilcox! πŸŽ‰πŸ€

A true pillar of the Grant Park Barrio, Earl has dedicated his life to uplifting our community, creating opportunities for our youth, and preserving the legacy of our neighborhood. His leadership, vision, and heart continue to shape Grant Park into a place where families grow, kids thrive, and culture is celebrated every single day.

From the early days of the Grant Park Late Night Basketball League to the impact we’re still seeing today, your work has touched generationsβ€”and we are forever grateful.

Wishing you a day full of love, appreciation, and well-deserved celebration. Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for Grant Park. 🫑

Today we honor and celebrate the life of Tommy NuΓ±ez β€” a true pillar of the Grant Park Barrio.

In the late 1970s, Tommy helped Earl and Mary Rose Wilcox, build something bigger than basketball β€” the Grant Park Late Night Basketball League. What started as a vision became a safe haven for generations of young people, keeping at-risk teens playing sports, out of trouble, and surrounded by community.

His impact didn’t stop there. Tommy is forever cemented in our Grant Park Hall of Fame, but more importantly, he lives on through every life he helped guide, every lesson passed down, and every game he refereed.

Because of leaders like Tommy, Grant Park isn’t just where we’re from β€” it’s who we are.

Rest in peace to a true icon πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ€

We had the privilege of hosting Kentucky Premier EYBL at Grant Park this week πŸ”₯

Our Suns/Mercury Foundation court continues to be a space where high-level talent, hard work, and community come together. It was an honor to welcome one of the top girls programs in the country right here in our neighborhood.

We’re committed to growing and supporting women’s hoops across the countyβ€”this is just the beginning! πŸ€πŸ§‘
