Our mission is to cultivate confidence, community, and leadership in girls through the beauty of music. Arizona Girlchoir is a nonprofit community choir founded in 2011 for girls and women. We provide weekly choral performance instruction, as well as lessons in music literacy and sight-singing. Our singers have numerous opportunities throughout the year to sing in concerts, festivals, and other co

mmunity and private performances. We are proud to provide choral education that fosters leadership skills and confidence in young women.

🎶 Director’s Note 🎶

As we close this season, I am filled with gratitude for the remarkable journey we have shared through music. Our theme for this last concert, “Sing Out, My Soul“ has guided not only our repertoire, but our purpose, reminding us that music is one of the most powerful ways we express who we are and connect with the world around us.
Each rehearsal and performance has been an opportunity for these singers to find and share their voices. Through moments of quiet reflection and powerful declarations of joy, they have learned what it means to sing not just with accuracy, but with authenticity. To “sing out my soul” is to be vulnerable, courageous, and fully present. These musicians have embraced that challenge with heart and dedication.
This program represents more than the culmination of a season; it reflects growth, trust, and a shared commitment to excellence. The performance you hear today is the result of countless hours of practice, collaboration, and belief in one another.
I am continually inspired by the way these singers support each other, take artistic risks, and strive for something greater than themselves. They have honored this theme by bringing both discipline and deep personal expression to every piece.
To our families, supporters, and community—thank you for your encouragement and presence. Your support allows our singers to take the stage with confidence and pride.
As we conclude this season, may we all carry forward the spirit of Sing Out My Soul, continuing to share our voices, our stories, and our music with courage and joy. It has been an honor to make music together, and I look forward to all that lies ahead.

✨Showstopper from Allegria ✨

Allegria is for our alumnae and adult singers, focuses on a professional sound and appearance, providing a rich choral experience with repertoire including multiple parts and foreign languages. Allegria singers have generally achieved a certain level of vocal performance.

Aria is for intermediate singers in grades 8 through 12. Aria singers learn more about healthy vocal production and creating blended choral sound. More advanced music is introduced at this level, including multi-part pieces. Aria singers learn to produce a beautiful pure sound with proper breath support, singing with precise intonation (in-tune) in three or more parts. Independent musicianship and musical leadership within the ensemble are encouraged.
