Barbour County Development Authority We exist to make Barbour County a more prosperous and appealing place to call home.

We encourage and assist new businesses through loans, investments or other transactions and by rehabilitating existing companies and industries within Barbour County. Our goal is to stimulate and promote economic expansion to advance the development and stability of the region increasing opportunities for employment and improving our standard of living. The BCDA works in conjunction with other org

anizations, Federal, State or Local, in the promotion and advancement of industrial, commercial, agricultural and recreational developments within the County. Aid is provided in the form of money and credit, land and industrial sites, technical assistance and such other assistance to approved applicants for the promotion, development and conduct of all types of business activity within Barbour County.

Save the date!! JULY 18th 10:00am to 4:00pm

Visit Adaland Mansion for Judge Robinson Day Saturday July 18.
Admission is free.
We will start at 10 a.m. with a discussion of the distinguished jurist who owned Adaland from 1920 to 1950.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. experts will provide advice on canning, gardening, and other Extension Service programs. They will also answer your questions.
To discover the resources available to you, visit the house on the hill above WV Route 76, four miles north of the city of Philippi on July 18.
Lunch will be available from 11:30 to 1:30.
