🎉 Today is the DAY‼️ The Philly Book Crawl is finally here 📚📚📚‼️ Hilltop Books is ready‼️ Book Crawl Fever. We’re Infected. 
We’ve got a sun plan. We’ve got a rain plan. We’ve got SO MANY BOOKS.

We have 16 volunteers helping the day of the crawl! (thanks to them you’ll find “new” books quickly added to our shelves and tables throughout the day!)

We’ve got giveaway bundles. We’ve got baked goods and drinks for sale (at Hilltop) and a restaurant deal (at Blue Warbler!)

We’ve got the coolest new merch and we’ve mastered the button press. It also makes magnets.

We have crawl passports and sale books (lots).

We’re got a mission to support our library branch, and we’ve got easy street parking.

Did we mention that rain plan (thanks neighbors) and all the books?

We’ve definitely got Book Crawl Fever. Hope you do, too!

📣 From Ms. Prather:
Attention Preschool Families!

Ms. Molly’s Music Program will be hosted at the Lovett Library on Thursday, August 6th! Visit the Lovett Branch, 6945 Germantown Ave, Thursday morning at 10:30 for Music with Ms. Molly!

(This program will return to the Chestnut Hill Branch on September 3rd. Chestnut Hill’s anticipated re-Opening date is August 10th, 11:00 a.m.)

AUTHOR EVENT: This Saturday (6pm) join us for a fun reading and conversation with Dr. Meg Wahlberg, author of Knitbone and Chivalry in the Shadows. Knitbone is the latest from and the historical fiction novel takes place in 13th century France during the chaotic Albigensian Crusade.

Bring your most obscure questions about medieval herbalism and military medicine. There will be a theatrical reading, a book signing, and a Q&A with the author.

This event is rain or shine! (We will be indoors in the event of rain)
