For six incredible years, By Faith Health & Healing has proudly partnered with Kensington Soccer Club through The Village That Heals Youth Summer Camp.

Watching our youth grow alongside KSC coaches has been nothing short of inspiring. Through soccer, they have learned teamwork, respect, compassion, sharing, and how to care for one another. More importantly, they’ve found healing. Many of these young people have experienced trauma, whether personally or within the communities they call home, and each year we witness remarkable transformation.

They are becoming caring, confident, and compassionate individuals who understand the value of lifting each other up. These young people are our future teachers, doctors, lawyers, leaders, and changemakers.

If you ask any camper what Ms. Brenda has taught them over the past six years, they’ll all tell you the same thing:

“Walk by faith, not by sight.” 💜

The Village That Heals Youth Summer Camp continues because of faith, love, community, and trust.

For six years, parents have trusted Brenda Mosley, Executive Director of By Faith Health and Healing, to provide a safe and loving environment for their children. We are deeply grateful for that trust.

Thank you to our amazing partners: Mural Arts, Kensington Soccer Club, ASL Sign Language Academy, our Physical Fitness Trainer, and every parent who continues to believe in this mission.

By Faith Health and Healing had a blessed and beautiful day at Knoebels Amusement Park in the Poconos. 💜

Under the leadership of Brenda Mosley, Executive Director and Program Director, our four programs — The Village That Heals Youth Summer Camp, Building a Brighter Future Through the Art of Construction, Men of Power Our Veterans, and Women That Thrive — traveled together with families, children, residents of Kensington, and community members from across Philadelphia.

It was a gorgeous day filled with rides, roller coasters, food, swimming, laughter, fellowship, and unforgettable memories.

God showed up and showed out in a miraculous way.

Through Building a Brighter Future Through the Art of Construction, the young men who once started as participants are now stepping into leadership, guiding the newer youth, and showing them what is possible.

Brenda Mosley, Program Director of Building a Brighter Future Through the Art of Construction, has started Cohort Six, and God has blessed the program with young men who have been consistently showing up.

Through their persistence and efforts over the years, they are starting their lives and building brighter futures with hands-on skills in all aspects of construction. These young men are growing, prospering, and succeeding. They are growing in number, and the program is in great demand.

The program offers hope to youth who see no hope. It offers skills to build, mentorship, healing relationships, and most of all, love.

Brenda Mosley is proud to announce that five of her young men have graduated from high school, completed their probations, earned their driver’s licenses, and are now certified in OSHA 10.

They are now engaging in the rebuilding of a residential project, and not only are they building brighter futures for themselves, they are building a home for a family in need.
The young men who started with Brenda six years ago have become true leaders and mentors to the newer young men, becoming visions of hope.

Please help celebrate these young men’s miraculous success. Stay tuned, there is more to be revealed.

These young men of Building a Brighter Future Through the Art of Construction are growing, prospering, and succeeding.

The program continues to grow in number and demand because it offers more than construction skills. It offers hope to youth who may not always see hope for themselves. It provides mentorship, healing relationships, structure, hands-on training, and most of all, love.

Some of these young men started this journey six years ago, and today they are becoming true leaders and mentors to the newer young men joining the program. They are becoming visions of hope for the next generation.

☀️ Six Years of Faith, Growth, and Safe Spaces 💜

What a beautiful way to begin the sixth year of The Village That Heals Youth Summer Camp!

Under the leadership of Program Director Brenda Mosley, another summer of hope, healing, and opportunity is underway. We were honored to welcome 24th District Lt. Lisa, whose presence recognized six years of creating a safe, supportive space where young people can learn, play, grow, and simply enjoy being kids.

Thank you, Lt. Lisa, for your continued partnership and commitment to the safety and well-being of our youth.

We are also deeply grateful to our incredible summer camp partners—Mural Arts, Kensington Soccer Club, ASL Sign Language Academy, our dedicated Physical Fitness Trainer, and every parent who has trusted By Faith Health and Healing with their children over the past six years.

We give thanks to God for His continued favor on this miraculously beautiful, bright, sunny, and warm day as families and their children came together to celebrate Spring is in the Air.

BFHH continues to be strengthened by a community of dedicated families whose presence consistently brings love, joy, laughter, and positive energy to every seasonal event. These moments are not accidental—they are the direct result of intentional community-building and unwavering commitment.

A special acknowledgment goes to our talented face painter, Daisy I Soto, whose passion and artistry continue to elevate the experience for every child. Her work is not just face painting—it is an expression of care, creativity, and connection.

This event was made possible through the collective support system that sustains BFHH: my son Robert, our Women’s Program, our Veterans Program, and our youth participants. This ecosystem of support is what drives impact and ensures consistency in service delivery.

We also extend our appreciation to Esperanza Core for providing access to their spacious gym, reinforcing the importance of strategic partnerships in community engagement.

By Faith Health and Healing – 6th Annual Love Is in the Air 💜
Brenda Mosley, Executive Director of By Faith Health and Healing, hosted our 6th Annual Love Is in the Air celebration at the Esperanza Core Building — and once again, God showed up and showed out.

A beautiful 66-degree, bright and sunny day set the tone as families, children, veterans, women, and youth filled the Core Building with joy, laughter, and love.
