We give thanks to God for His continued favor on this miraculously beautiful, bright, sunny, and warm day as families and their children came together to celebrate Spring is in the Air.

BFHH continues to be strengthened by a community of dedicated families whose presence consistently brings love, joy, laughter, and positive energy to every seasonal event. These moments are not accidental—they are the direct result of intentional community-building and unwavering commitment.

A special acknowledgment goes to our talented face painter, Daisy I Soto, whose passion and artistry continue to elevate the experience for every child. Her work is not just face painting—it is an expression of care, creativity, and connection.

This event was made possible through the collective support system that sustains BFHH: my son Robert, our Women’s Program, our Veterans Program, and our youth participants. This ecosystem of support is what drives impact and ensures consistency in service delivery.

We also extend our appreciation to Esperanza Core for providing access to their spacious gym, reinforcing the importance of strategic partnerships in community engagement.

Let this serve as a reminder: Walk by faith, not by sight.

By Faith Health and Healing – 6th Annual Love Is in the Air 💜
Brenda Mosley, Executive Director of By Faith Health and Healing, hosted our 6th Annual Love Is in the Air celebration at the Esperanza Core Building — and once again, God showed up and showed out.

A beautiful 66-degree, bright and sunny day set the tone as families, children, veterans, women, and youth filled the Core Building with joy, laughter, and love.

✨ 6th Annual Christmas Celebration | By Faith Health and Healing ✨

This season, By Faith Health and Healing experienced a moment of pure purpose and abundance. Through God’s grace, Executive Director Brenda Mosley led a miraculous Christmas celebration serving 530+ families—each child leaving with arms full of toys, and hearts full of joy.

This impact was powered by unwavering volunteers, a community that shows up, and leadership rooted in faith. Deep gratitude to:

•Our Veterans and Youth Development leaders—the future in motion
•Instructor Justin Santiago for his dedication

Our Executive Director, Brenda Mosley, and our Programs Director have officially launched our newest Trauma-Informed Curriculum for Women That Thrive.

These powerful women have pushed through some of life’s hardest storms — loss to gun violence, the pain of opioid overdoses, and profound physical challenges.
Yet they continue to rise. Their resilience is not just inspiring; it is a living testament to perseverance in the face of adversity.

Today, we proudly recognize them as Women That Thrive.

We will continue to Walk by Faith and Not by Sight.

✨ The Village that Heals Youth Summer Camp ✨

Executive Director Brenda Mosley proudly hosted our 4th Annual Back-to-School Celebration 🎉

We give thanks to Kensington Soccer Club, Mural Arts, our amazing ASL Sign Language Instructor Robert (Leo Black) Mosley, and our dedicated youth mentor Riley Dansette for making another summer of growth, love, and hope possible. 💜

God blessed us with a beautiful and festive day filled with joy, learning, and community. Our youth proudly showcased their ASL sign language skills and were rewarded with gift cards for their hard work and dedication.

🙏 Sending God’s blessings to all our youth for a successful and productive school year ahead.

Building a Brighter Future Through the Art of Construction has transformed the lives of a group of young people giving them not just skills, but hope and confidence.

Four years ago, they started with the basics—learning how to measure wood. Today, they’ve mastered building fully finished structures, complete with electricity.

Now, they’re taking on their biggest challenge yet: demolishing a house that’s sat empty for 10 years, to rebuild it from the ground up.

In just two months, their demolition progress is incredible. This isn’t just construction it’s transformation.
