The for Environmental Education and William Way invite you to celebrate National Coming Out Day with a guided hike and an outdoor open mic on Saturday, October 10th from 12-3pm. Led by an inspiring environmental educator, this guided hike will focus on the scientific exploration of q***rness and gender fluidity in nature, and will then be followed by light refreshments and an open mic at the outdoor amphitheater, hosted by Mary Groce!

This month for William Way’s Ours Truly Trans Community Space, we are partnering with the Philadelphia Trans Oral History Project (PTOHP, ) to host a zine folding party! Assemble copies of their first zine collection that create a timeline of Philly trans history from 1965-present. Come to fold while making friends, looking at archival media, and learning local trans history! All attendees will receive their own copies of the collection.

Bisexual+ people have always been an important part of the LGBTQ+ community! Building community, organizing for change, and working alongside LGBTQ+ people across generations and movements.

Bi+ can include people who identify as bisexual, pansexual, fluid, q***r, unlabeled, and more. While these identities and experiences can look different from one another, Bi Week is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of the bi+ community and bring greater visibility to bi+ experiences.

This week, take some time to learn about bi+ history and culture, listen to bi+ voices, support bi+ creators and organizations, and celebrate the bi+ people in your community. 🩷💜💙

Join us on Wednesday, September 16th from 6-8pm to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with Sotomayor Productions, a Philadelphia and Pittsburgh-based storytelling and civic media organization dedicated to justice-driven storytelling that spotlights Latinx, immigrant, q***r, and trans communities. Enjoy three short films from .productions and stay for a post-screening discussion with director Kristal Sotomayor. Light refreshments provided.
