4 years old • 13.5 lbs • Chihuahua Mix • Male

Kole is the sweetest little guy with a calm, gentle, easygoing personality. Nothing seems to ruffle him! ❤️

Kole may be shy when he first meets someone, but once he warms up, he loves being with his people. He runs to the door to greet his foster when they come home and at bedtime, when his blanket comes out, he heads right to his bed and settles in. 🥹

He doesn’t need another dog in his home, but a quiet, gentle dog could help reassure him.

Kole has some unique little quirks that just make him even more special. ❤️ He has very short legs, with some bowing in his front legs and a slight pigeon-toed stance. He has no trouble walking and loves his walks and hikes, but stairs can be challenging, so he patiently waits for help when needed.

He has also had some of his teeth removed, so he does best with softened kibble and wet food.

Kole is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy walks, adventures, cozy snuggles, and most of all, being right by your side. He’s an incredibly sweet, calm little guy who is ready to find his forever family. 🐾❤️

Mac Truck joined us from ACCT Philly in August and has been on a skin healing journey. His blood work came out perfect, and has completed medication for his ears and skin. He also took a trip for his 🍒 in-between!

Although his skin is looking much better than intake, he could use a few things to help keep the good vibes going ❤️‍🩹 this buttered biscuit would love & appreciate the support!

Doodle is still in need of a foster!!

🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED FOR NOODLE & DOODLE! 🚨

Noodle and Doodle are about 8 months old and are currently safe in a temporary foster, but they need new foster homes to take over until they find their forever families! ❤️

They do NOT need to be fostered together. We would love for each of them to go to a home with another playful dog who can keep up with their puppy energy and help them continue learning!

Mushie has been overlooked for months but he is such a great dog…
Adopt Mushie! He is 2 years old, only 30 lbs, great with small kids, wonderful with other dogs, and loves the dog park! He recently attended an adoption event and was the star of the show, happily socializing and playing with every dog he met.

Mushie is no stranger to rejection. After surviving a hoarding situation, he spent a full year in a shelter and has since bounced between different foster homes. This sweet boy is ready for stability and someone who will finally choose him for life.

If there’s one thing to know about Mushie, it’s how loving and loyal he is. He loves cuddles, toys, attention, and being close to his people.

🐶 More about Mushie:

🏡 Housebroken with a consistent schedule.
😴 Goes easily into his crate at night and sleeps through the night.
🏠 When left, he may bark for a bit before settling.
🦮 Walks very nicely on leash and rarely pulls.
🚗 Rides well in the car, though he can get nauseous if he recently ate.
🧠 Very smart! He learned the doggie door in less than a day by watching the resident dogs.
🐕 Loves dogs of all sizes and enjoys wrestling and playing.
👧 Has done wonderfully with children, including kids as young as 5.
🐱 He has been sweet and respectful with the resident cat in his current home. He has chased a shy cat in the past, so a confident, dog-savvy cat with slow introductions would be best.

ADOPT SALLY 🐾 Sally is 5 months old and under 20 pounds, lovingly known in her foster home as Sally Lally. 🤍 We have no idea her breed, but she reminds us of a boxer.

She is gentle, affectionate, snuggly, and simply happy to be loved. She may be shy when you first meet her, but once she feels safe, you’ll quickly understand why everyone adores her.

🏡 At home, Sally’s personality shines. She gets SO excited to see you in the morning or when you come home, loves giving kisses, and is always ready for a good snuggle.

🐕 She LOVES other dogs, especially big dogs. Her foster brother True brings out her playful, confident side. She’ll happily play with him and occasionally grab one of his big pouty lips. 😂

🌙 Sally sleeps quietly through the night in her crate with no crying and has been waking up to a dry crate night after night.

🚽 She’s doing fantastic with house training, too. Keep her on a consistent routine and she does very well without accidents.

🤫 She rarely barks and is such a sweet, pleasant little companion.

Sally might need a little time to warm up, but once she does, you get kisses, cuddles, happy greetings, and one very loving little girl. 🤍

🚨💔 BISCUIT IS SAFE — BUT HER STORY IS ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING 💔🚨

Biscuit is COVERED and has a safe place to go, but we cannot stop thinking about how long this little girl must have been suffering before someone finally helped her.

Underneath Biscuit’s horribly matted coat was something no animal should ever have to endure.

Open, infected wounds. Maggots living in them. 💔

And Biscuit couldn’t tell anyone how badly she hurt.

She couldn’t tell anyone that underneath all of that matted fur, her little body was suffering. She couldn’t ask someone to clean her wounds, ease her pain, or simply make it stop.

She just endured it. 😭

And somehow, after being neglected to this point, Biscuit is still incredibly sweet.

That may be the part that breaks our hearts the most.

She still trusts.
She still wants love.
She still believes people can be kind. ❤️‍🩹

The shelter shaved away the painful mats and cleaned her wounds, but Biscuit’s healing is only beginning. Now it’s our turn to show her what her life should have looked like all along soft blankets, a warm bed, good food, veterinary care, gentle hands and, most importantly, LOVE.

🙏 We are asking our village to please help Biscuit.

Adopt Kenicke! This handsome lug would take the cake of yearbook superlatives “best smile” “best ears” “best hair” “best eyes” ….and “class clown” 🤭 This silver bear is looking for a forever bestie to share his zest for life with!

Kenicke is approx 1.5 years old, 65 pounds and crate/house trained. He is goofy, uncoordinated, and absurdly sweet. He loves other dogs, and was a playgroup star at the shelter before joining us. He also loved the baby pools!

Kenicke loves attention, belly rubs and has been eager to learn good boy commands. He’d do best with school aged kids, preferably 9+ if any in the home. His lack of paw-eye coordination is the culprit!
