What an incredible day on the mat! 🤼‍♂️❤️

Our middle and high school wrestlers gave back in the best way possible today by hosting a clinic for the next generation of wrestlers. Seeing familiar faces who came up through this very program now leading the way for the younger kids was something truly special.

To our middle and high schoolers: we are so proud of the wrestlers AND leaders you've become.

To our youth wrestlers: whether you are new and returning, welcome to the family. The room was full of heart today, and that's what this program is all about.

The legacy continues. 🏆

We’re less than two weeks ago from our high school’s biggest fundraiser and we are looking for YOUR help!

Consider signing up to help with cameras or run a clock during USA Wrestling’s U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials at Spire. No experience is required, and you don’t have to be an expert at wrestling. Even better… you have a front row seat to some of the most competitive wrestling in the country, while enjoying a top-notch hospitality room and getting a free t-shirt.

We especially need help with the Friday day shift (9:30am-2:30pm), as our high school kids are still in class.

Congratulations to Antonius Bertone and Chance Schlauch on being named our 2026 Dave Rowan Perry Mighty Mite Wrestling Scholarship recipients!

These two young men embody what it means to be truly homegrown in the Perry wrestling program. They are familiar faces to many of our current Mighty Mites and stand as powerful examples of what embracing the process looks like.

We wish them continued success as they pursue their academic and wrestling careers in college!

Behind every tough wrestler is an even tougher Mom. 🤼‍♂️❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who make this team possible! From the early morning weigh-ins to the post-match cheers (and tears), your support is the ultimate backbone of Perry Mighty Mites.

Today, we trade the headgear for hugs. Thank you for everything you do on and off the mat!

We are very lucky to have the support we do in family volunteers, community volunteers, wrestling board, coaches (many whom are Mighty Mite parents) and Perry wrestlers in all ages for set up, referees and tear down. It was a well planned, complimented amazing day of 8 exciting mats of wrestling at home to end the Mighty Mite season. Thank you all. 🏴‍☠️

As a wrestling community, our Mighty Mite families, MS/HS wrestlers and MS/HS families put on a very well run tournament with nearly 550 wrestlers across 2 events. There were many compliments on how it was run and a request to continue next year. None of it would have been possible without the many hands that made light work.
