Our Service Unit collected donations at their annual food drive at IGA last weekend. This weekend, Troop 70397 filled some local free pantries with a small amount of what was collected! The Perry and Madison Girl Scouts met up this weekend to celebrate World Thinking Day. Each troop chose a country and researched it, then shared information with the other girls in the Service Unit.

World Thinking Day focuses on a theme each year where the community of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the globe work together to find ways to help. It is celebrated on February 22nd annually.

Girl Scout cookie information!

2025 cookie dates:
January 13th: Pre orders start on paper and online. If you don't have a girl connection, troops have sites that you can order from to ensure that you get what you want!
March 1-6: Cookies arrive! Pre orders delivered via individual girls.
March 7-30: Cookie Booths at local businesses!

All the money stays local - individual troops earn about $1 per box sold. The rest of the proceeds go to Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio which supports 3 incredible camp properties, a new Dream Lab, and a STEM center. They also provide tons of programs and activities all around NEO.

🦃 Your local Girl Scouts are making the world a better place! Last weekend they held a food drive to benefit local families for their Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you to IGA for allowing us to use your space for the food drive! Your customers were incredibly generous! They collected over 500 pounds of food donations! 🦃
