Footprints Center for Autism is an Ohio based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedica
ted to providing educational and therapeutic services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, collaborative, and child-centered programming for individuals with autism in a positive and non-restrictive learning environment so that each child can reach their highest potential and achieve excellence in all aspects of life. Our services will include special education, speech therapy services, occupational therapy services, aide services, parent/professional collaboration opportunities, etc. We became officially incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of Ohio in August of 2017 and announced our organization on December 1, 2017. Why open a treatment center? The answer is simple. In each of us, there is an irreplacable spark that is ignited by this field of work. Each individual we've worked with has left his or her footprints on our hearts, and has impacted our lives for the better. Students and patients have come and gone, but are far from forgotten. These children have taught us how to change our perspective, how to celebrate small victories, how to find joy and laughter even in hard times, and how to unconditionally show love and have compassion for all people. Our greatest hope is to take what we've learned from these individuals and create a learning environment that is safe, joyful, and loving- an environment that allows each child to be successful, to learn at his or her own pace, and to feel confident in what they do as they leave their own set of footprints on our hearts and on the world. Thank you so very much for your support! Sincerely,
Erin and Nicole
