The theme to this years Marti Gras Parade was "Honoring Our Veterans" We were happy to have 8 Veterans ride on our float.We have been perticipaing in this parade for 10 years now and this was our first year that the 4H group walked along side the float so our honored Veterans could ride.

Here are the upcoming dates:
July 13 (Sunday) - Meeting at 3pm
July 20 (Sunday) - Meeting at 3pm
July 24 (Thurs) - Beach time tba
July 27 (Sunday) - Meeting at 3pm
July 28 (Monday) - Fair Set-up 7pm
Aug 3 (Sunday)- Meeting/Judging of projects 3 pm

*We will start our Canvas/Fleece Project at the July 13th meeting. Please bring your 12 X 12 canvas. If you are unable to attend - please make arrangements with Kim.

*Beach - We will discuss at our meeting.

**If everyone could please bring $5 to the meeting to cover the cost of the pizza we had during the Mardi Gras Parade. Special thanks to Tina for picking up the pizza and delivering!!

For those of you that may have missed the dates of our upcoming events ....
May 23rd (Friday) - 4H campout
May 24th (Saturday) - Zoo trip
June 8th - (Sunday) - 4H meeting (making final plans for float) meeting is from 3 to 5 - but may run over.
July 3rd - Mardi Gras parade meeting time tba

I left my notes at Kim's house the other day when I was shearing - I will add the rest of the dates when I get them back.
