We would also like to recognize some of the other students from Day 2 of the State FFA Convention yesterday.
Kade Sweeney was the state runner-up in the Small Animal Production and Care proficiency award area as well as having seven state degree recipients Ellie Aldridge, Emma Loree, Jolie Perry, Raegan Miner, Sadie Truesdale, Brock Hammock, and Jace Myers.

Perkins-Tryon FFA has had an awesome week between CDE and Speech contests.

Our 8th Grade livestock judging team (Perkins-Tryon Butter Yellow) was 3rd Overall Jr. questions team at Connors State Interscholastics and 4th overall Non-Reasons team at the Eastern Oklahoma State Interscholastics! Team Members were Rylee DeMuth, Lainey Carroll, Audrey McCasland, and Evie Rue Cantrell.

Izzy Byrd was also 1st place in the 8th-9th-10th General Agriculture at the Broken Arrow speech contest and 3rd place at the Collegiate FFA Speech contest!

We also had the 7th place Land Judging team at the Connors State Interscholastics! Team members were Danica Walters, Mary McDonald, Brayden Hawkins, and Lorelai Wackerly.
