Perkins-Tryon FFA Perkins-Tryon FFA is a student organization based on building student's leadership qualities and personal growth.

Perkins-Tryon FFA has numerous members who are all involved in different activites. We have an amazing chapter and are always willing for more people to become involved. Whether it is judging, showing, public speaking, cattle grading, or farm shop, we can do it. We have fundraisers year round that include the Pork Chop Supper, Blue and Gold Sausage Sales, and the Plant Sale.

If you plan to exhibit livestock at the Oklahoma Youth Expo, please contact the AG Teacher in charge of your species for nomination kits!

-Nomination Kits are $20/kit for ALL species,
-Money is due prior to kits being picked up,
-All nomination kits are due back by November 10th!

If you are showing Sheep or Cattle please contact Mr. Hooten, if you are showing Goats or Hogs please contact Mr. Humble!

Today we traveled to the Tulsa State Fair for the State Cattle Grading Practice! These students have consistently scored at the top of our chapter to earn their spot to this contest. We are very fortunate that this is a young group that has many more years to grow and continue competing!

We had a very good day!
Team 1- 69th
Team 2- 81st
Team 3- 106th

Bristol Inselman was 24th overall out of 906!
Kamryn Moore was 27th overall out of 906!

We also received the awards for the 3rd and 4th high individual from the contest last week hosted by the Oklahoma Union FFA chapter!

I know that you are just as excited as I am to travel to the State Contest tomorrow at the Tulsa State Fair! Make sure you set your alarms for the correct time, be sure to grab breakfast before getting to the Ag Barn, and I will see you at 6:45 to be leaving by 7am!

If you are going with Mr. Hooten to OSU tomorrow morning and are planning to meet us there, please park in one of the circled parking lots and meet us in room 203 of Agricultural Hall by 8:00am!

If you are riding with Mr. Hooten, he is leaving the ag building at 7:30! See everyone in the morning!

We traveled to the Oklahoma Union Cattle Grading contest!

Our teams placed as follows!
Team #01- 4th place out of 78 teams!
Bristol Inselman- 3rd overall out of 275!
