Coal came to us after being surrendered because someone in his family developed an allergy. We truly don’t think they could have given him up under any other circumstance, because this little guy has a way of winning over absolutely everyone he meets! 🥹

Coal is silly, playful, incredibly purry, and loves nothing more than being held and showered with attention. And that fur?! SO soft! 🥰

He is also a kitten on the go! 🚀 Coal has tons of energy and wants to be involved in everything, so he’ll need a family who can keep up with him. Ideally, he’d have a stay-at-home parent who can give him plenty of interaction, or another young, playful kitty friend who can match his energy and keep him company!

Shelter’s flooded again. 😔 Fourth time this summer and it’s definitely taking its toll on our kitties and volunteers. 💔 It constantly results in very long cleanup times, and our kitties don’t love the shop vacs running for hours. 😿

We are desperate to find a solution for this, and if anybody in the community with expertise in this field (flood prevention/mitigation) is willing to offer some guidance, I couldn’t begin to tell you how appreciated it would be!

🚨 Just a quick update for our supporters! Yesterday’s basket raffle winners are all matched up, and some of you already received a call from us today. The remaining basket winners will be called between tonight and Monday, and there will be a window to pick up the baskets for the winners. If a special need for a local delivery exists, we can make that happen as well!

We’ve got 18 amazing local vendors, 3 food trucks, and OVER 100 raffle baskets packed with goodies! Plus, you’ll have a chance to win a Litter-Robot 4! 🤩

☔ Worried about the weather? Don’t let the apps scare you away just yet! Our president also happens to be a meteorologist, and he’ll be giving us a detailed weather update today! As of now, he’s expecting the noon-4pm timeframe of our event to be mostly dry! Even if a few drops make their way in, we’ve got the covered pavilion to keep us dry! We’re keeping a close eye on things and will keep you posted! 👀

It’s hard to believe that sweet Phoebe went from having not a single adoption application to finding the person who was meant to be her forever mom! 🥹❤️

For Phoebe and her new mom, it was definitely love at first sight! 😍 Sometimes the right person just comes along and everything falls perfectly into place!✨

We couldn’t be happier for this beautiful girl and her new family. We know these two are going to make so many wonderful memories together and live happily ever after! 🏡🌈
