It's a great day to worship the Lord! We will gather at 10:00 a.m. at 2849 Miller Ranch Road or online at facebook.com/peacechurchpearland. The scripture that our service is based on is Luke 14:25-35, as we wrestle with these harsh words about hating family and even our own lives in order to follow Jesus. We are doing the blessing of the backpacks and the food drive continues a couple more Sundays. Hope to see you then!

Why would Jesus tell us to HATE our mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, and even our own lives? He tell us to love our enemies, but hate those closest to us? This difficult teaching will be the subject of our next sermon in our "Tough Tales" series.
