Happy Monday pack 621 families! Wanted to give everyone a quick update on some summer happenings:

Paw Sox campout is happening 8/8-8/9. Tickets will be purchased by Wednesday this week, so now is your last chance to RSVP on band if you’d like to go. If you do not RSVP on band, you will not have a ticket.

We’re booked at a scout property in Andover the night of 7/11-7/12. Band event has been added, so please RSVP there if you’d like to join us, and let us know how many people your party will be in the comments so we can accurate plan food. More details to follow.

Currently still hoping to add an overnight at the end of this month, but I’m having a hard time finding an appropriate location. If anyone has any leads on a good local group camping spot that’s available please let me know!

Due to the continued bad weather scheduled to continue through tomorrow, the Memorial Day Parade in Peabody has been officially canceled for this year.

Hello Pack 621 families! To help you tomorrow morning at the cemetery, this sheet is a great graphic for what to look for in identifying military grave markers on non-military headstones. These are the most common military engravings you would find etched onto headstones of people who have served our country.

Evening everyone! If anyone is interested, we have located the Pack 621 car magnets again and will have them available next week for anyone who wants them. They are $5/each and help us provide camping, meals and advancements at no additional costs to families.

For anyone who may be interested, there are weeks of Cub Scout Day Camp available still open. Topsfield has July 13-17 and Base Camp in Milton has multiple weeks available. The kids will get TONS of skills done and spend the week with scouts from various other programs around the area. See the link below for program cost and registration information

In lieu of our inability to be at The City of Peabody - Government city clean up day this year, the Pack met today at cleaned up Cy Tenney Field and Lt Ross Park before our hike tonite. Scouts worked on their “6 essentials” and hiked anywhere from 1-3 miles based on age requirements. Thank you to all who showed up tonite!

Good afternoon Pack 621 families!

Next Monday’s pack meeting is going to be held at Cy Tenney park in West Peabody.

We’ll be meeting at 5:00 to do some cleanup around the park, and departing to hike up the bike path at 6:00. Trash bags and gloves will be provided by the pack.

Please make sure you bring everything you need to hike safely, including appropriate footwear and clothing.
