It only takes 21 repeated times for the human brain to create a habit. Painting your thumbnails BLACK (the color of death) will remind you of the devastation caused by doing D.A.T. (Driving and Texting) Each time you reach for your phone you'll see the color black and create the habit of putting your phone down. NOTHING IS THAT IMPORTANT THAT IT EITHER CAN'T WAIT or can be done by pulling over and off the main road and out of traffic.

"Driving and Texting" (D.A.T.) laws on cell phone usage for every state. Know the law in your state. Your message or text or phone can wait or pull over. Think about what your life would be like if you hit or killed someone because you were distracted while driving. You can literally pull off road and park if you need to reply to someone urgently. Is that message THAT important you would risk your life? Common sense people.

Each country and U.S. state has distinct rules governing the use of a mobile phone while driving. What are the rules where you're traveling? Keep this list for your next trip.
